Very Good Sequel If you liked the first one, this one is just as good----if not better. I recommend both!! The story continues seamlessly, good fun here!! April 7, 2013
Alpha Kimori Episode 2 - Fun Game I really enjoyed this game because of the variety of challenges the team faces. There is ample opportunity to increase your level and earn money to buy the equipment you need. The monsters are challenging but not too difficult to beat. Having a health bar was extremely helpful. You are able to see the monsters before you approach them, which helps in knowing if you need to heal yourself right away or wait until you level up. This game is number 2 in the series and you are allowed to bring money & equipment from game 1 to this game. That was a hugh help! You don't retain your level from game 1 to 2 but it's not a big problem because you have good weapons & armor to progress. There is suppose to be a game 3 but the endgame did not indicate a save from game 2 to 3. I sure hope I can carry my equipment & money into game 3. If not, boo hoo. Regardless, this is a fun game well worth the cost. April 10, 2013
amazing RPG game It is an amazing sequal to the first game I hope they come out with a third one July 9, 2014
Not as fun as the last one music is cute a lot of battles takes long time to beat a battle, game not for everyone it just depends on what you like i guess.Only played 2 hours of game so from what i see price of items are a bit high as you don't make much to be able to buy items unless you spend hours of game play to make the money to buy.It did get boring after awhile so i wish i had saved my credit for another game. It can be better No problem in game play like the ep1 of fail running .int something. (wow, that was so long since i bought the ep 1). Smooth play till the end of the game. Play time, I manage to finish the game in 14 hours. Its longer then the first game but still very short game play on the main story. as said above, the skill proforming is very slow and it could not be perform it the game is not your active window. which make me need to see ALL the skill before i can go to next turn. i will give a 4 start for visual, but a 2 star for music. Fade out (music changing is not very smooth to the next theme) The pixel graphic is as good as usual. Very a lively draw out dots by dots. While heading to back to the bidarian city, I really miss the great green grass. i think thats all i could say, but i enjoy playing it. its a good try for new jrpg players if you haven't tried one. It is ok if you have played the first one This game is ok if you have played the first one. You can pick up on the story without all that long cutscene in the beginning. What got to be irksome was the LONG battles with bosses and the amount of time for their attack to finish! Irritating! You can go to the bathroom, smoke a cig before the boss has finished his attack. But all in all it is a nice game. March 10, 2013
It can be a little overdone when it comes to fights I spend most of my time fighting in the game, and if you get to a boss, their attacks take 30 seconds from start to finish. It can be really aggravating. The storyline is good and when I CAN play it's challenging and interesting. I wish there were more side quests though, like in Aveyond. Overall, not as good as the first one. April 24, 2013
Not too bad. Not great. If you have played the first game and saved your file to be extended to the second game, then you will be better off. You start off with the characters and levels you had before. The escape button works in battles. The battles do take forever. Sometimes too many enemies surround you and escape is impossible. Such a disappointing sequel... I was really looking forward to this sequel, but it fell apart about halfway through the game, which was really disappointing. I appreciated the addition of the HP bars for the enemies. I like to know how close I am to killing an enemy. It helps me with strategy planning. I also appreciated the side quests that you could repeat to earn more money for upgrades. However, that is where the improvements end. The story just went haywire, introducing way too many characters that, when in reserve, do not progress. The highest level weapons were much too expensive to get up to. The previously mentioned side games earned some money, but not really enough to buff up all the characters. I had to content myself with just one strong character. The rest were weak side helpers. The story also went religious, attempting to combine science, science fiction, magic, and religion, and ending up with a horribly confusing storyline. I found myself pounding through the last few levels just to find out how it ended. When my son (who is also a gamer) asked me how my RPG was going, my response was, "They jumped the shark." This game took me about 24 hours to complete, which would have made a GREAT value if the story had not gone in so many directions. I love the time spent on the artwork and cut scenes but it seems like that is where most of the effort was. Not enough thought was put into the story. The end result was just not enjoyable. I am not sure I will be purchasing part 3. April 1, 2013
Don't expect too much The Credits run first, and there are lots of them, If you use the Options to turn off the music and/or change the screen size, then you have to sit through all those Credits again. Finally to the first scene....and it is not professionally done by todays standards. Colors are pretty, but that is about all I can say for it. I was in the first scene about a minute, But when I got out of the game, it said 10 minutes had been used, so all those Credits are counted as Play time. For me a total NO SALE. What is BF thinking??
