Fantastic
We do play lots of Big Fish games, but this is definately one of my favorites. Beautifully made, great storyline and the grafics are stunning!

Fun game
Good storyline about the Shade returning in the guise of Fiona's teacher, and magic has to be used to get rid of him.
Great gremlins
Beautiful graphics
Speaking characters
Puzzles-quite a few of these, some hard, long skip
Journal
HOS interactive, but not many of them
Transport map
Good length: about 5 hours casual
More of a fantasy game
SE ends in a cliffhanger. Could be the CE finished the story, or another game is expected to continue the series

good but not the greattest
Graphics are great. I really liked the first one but having a hard time getting into this one because it seems harder. Seems like I cannot figure out what to do next. Must be me. The puzzles do not give much directions and not many HOS. I'll keep pushing thru.

Great Game for 12 year olds
This has all what makes a good HOG, a villain, a quest, interesting puzzles, pixie-land and underwater scenes just lovely, a great story but I didnt give it more than three stars because it is clearly aimed at young teens. The initial deserted school scenes would be even younger - ten yr olds. Otherworld Summer was more cross-generational I thought, and though I liked this a great deal & enjoyed it enough to finish in two sessions (you get about 8hrs gameplay so good value) it is definitely aimed for child gamers. Very much recommend it for this age group though.

Glad I bought it.
The game has a pretty good plot line and the map was a great help in getting from one scene to another quickly. While there were more puzzles than I would like, they weren't horribly hard so it made the whole game enjoyable This was a good game but for me, I would have preferred more ho's and fewer puzzles.

inconclusive ending
I had purchased and completed this game before the previous Otherworld: Spring of Shadows which I am in the process of playing and yet to finish. I dread the ending being inconclusive like the Omens of Summer.
It left me in a lousy mood, it's like waiting for the outcome of a great movie and the power goes off in the last 40 seconds. Is there a sequel to the Omens of Summer that carries through the story line?

Great IHOS
I'm very picky about the games I purchase. They have to have certain things:
- Custom cursor opt-out
- Click fast through dialogue
- Interactive hidden object scenes
- Interactive map
- Cool, unique mini puzzles
- Good graphics
I also don't like having to remember what inventory items I need to to complete a task from 20 scenes ago. This game meets all my criteria and more.
The storyline isn't particularly dark so the disclaimer is only for the faintest of heart. Otherworld:Omens of Summer is a 4.6 in my book.

Disturbing!!!
Played for a time and quit. There are some dark HO. This one I got out of quickly. Just something so I decided to go no further. Judge for yourself. Just not my cup of tea.

Not worth the bandwidth to download
Loading scenes for this game state that it is not for anyone under 14. I think the games in this are only suitable for younger players; they are much too simplistic and childish for an adult. Also, it is not particularly frightening and I doubt anyone over the age of 8 would be alarmed by it in any way. I`m seriously tempted to ask for my money back on this one.

makes no sense whatsoever
do the game designers speak English? the puzzle instructions are almost unintelligible and the puzzles are nonsensical to the nth degree....I can't complete any because they make no sense ... pretty graphics though
