Fantastic Game! But I prefer the Collector?s Edition!! :)
Played and loved the Collector?s Edition of this game and went through the trial of this one, to find the differences?
Graphics are very clear, even in the darker scenes. Characters are animated very well with good voice-overs. Lots of interactive, cluttered hidden object scenes, items are quite easy to find though. Few puzzles/ minigames, which are not too challenging but fun!
6 chapters granting at least 5 hours gameplay.
In the options you can choose between fullscreen/ widescreen and system-/ or gamecurser.
2 modes to choose from. casual (hint refills in 30 sec., active areas are highlighted) and expert (hint refills in 1 min., active areas are not highlighted). Hint shows you the direction, where to go next.
We have a detailed journal and a map (shows you locations with available action and allows you to jump?).
I preferred playing the CE of this game, as there are 33 beyond objects to find and even though the end of the main game leaves you satisfied, the bonus-chapter offered in the CE is high recommendable, with new areas to explore and another 1 hours to play?.

Amazing Graphics
Based on trial
2 levels; casual and expert
interactive map
crowded list style HOS
puzzles are okay, nothing really new or startling
excellent animation and voiceovers
Stand alone sequel to Sacra Terra - Angelic Night
The story is a little tired, saving your fiancee from an evil entity, a succubus in this case, but it is beautifully done. I am a huge fan of the 'other world' genre and this game has it all; portals, magic books, beautiful evil villain. So, although the story has been done before, there are so many plus points for the the execution of it and the amazing graphics that I think it deserves a 4 star rating.

I'm downloading now!!
I reviewed this game in Collector's Edition and just finished the "try me" in SE. What a great game!! I knew I was going to buy it but wanted to see if there was a big difference between the two and there is not. It is fun, crisp and clean drawing, good help button and a very interesting story line. The puzzles are not quick to find some things and I like that. You have to think in this game and really look around. Well, my game is done downloading so I am off to have loads of fun. I hope you will enjoy this game as I certainly will.

SHE DEVIL TOOK MY BOYFRIEND!
Yep, my boyfriend was about to propose, but while I answered the phone he picked up my book of incantations that I had just lying around and had to go one step further and recite one of the incantations and POOF, Lileth whisks him away to Sacara Terra Island! So it's off to the island by myself to get my diamond and fight the evil woman for my man. Enough about the story you can't go wrong with this game because the graphics are clear, eerie and well done, good interactive HOS and clever mini games as well. Shortly after the game starts you will recieve a map for traveling which you will need because there are a lot of different locations both in Sacara Terra as well as the many portals you will go through. I played in the hard mode (casual/hard only options) which takes longer for hints to recharge and no sparkles however I thought the map was all you really need because once you are in an active location it is pretty easy to figure out which inventory item is used there. I have already purchased this game in the CE and if you have the extra money to buy the upgraded version do so because the beyond objects are fun to locate and the bonus edition makes for a pretty long game. Either version in my opinion is worth the buy.

Great Game!!
This game has it ALL - great graphics, great level of challenge, great length!! I don't buy computer games for "story lines" because I am an avid reader and NO story lines of ANY games are an attraction for me. As far as games go, this game has value. I wish all the games presented on this site were of this quality!!!!

Run-Of-The Mill HO Game.
Despite its brilliant graphics, marvelous locations, and great voices and music, this game was just another typical HOG.
Too bad, too, because, if handled by HERINTERACTIVE or by Benoit Sokal, it would have been a masterpiece.
Just when you were getting into the plot, a hidden object bin would pop up! And, let's face it, the entire game -- even if the hidden object scenes were removed -- was hunting for hidden objects by way of story.
If only these developers would learn, but they won't, since most of the games in the BIG FISH "selectorium" are HOS!
"Sacra Terra: Angelic Night" was superior to this installment.
I recommend this game only for those who like HOS.

A new favorite
I liked the first and thoroughly enjoyed this Sacra Terra. Finally puzzles I could solve, objects I could find, and a map to keep me on the move. I liked the storyline, especially the 4th heart. No need for the walkthrough or strategy guide. There was lots of game time, but I might even spring for the collector's edition 'cause I was so disappointed when it ended.

NO MORPHING!
I enjoyed playing the game, loved the map, but almost drove myself crazy trying to spot the morphing objects. I was POed finding they took them out of the SE. I loved the first sacra Terra SE , it had the morphing items. But now it's a play twice and delete for me. I can't honestly recommend a game that has me so tee'd off.
