Farm Up I think this game is awesome. I look forward to playing every day. I like how when you finish one quest you don't have to wait for a new one. It just keeps moving forward. September 15, 2013
great games so love this game, great for kids to enjoy, and easy to learn, color and graphics are pretty good too September 22, 2013
I'm a FarmUpaholic! This game is totally addictive - like so many of the farming games on FB, I found. I do like to plan my planting around my opportunities to get to the laptop (sounds sad, but some of you know what I'm talking about!). I've been ill for the past few weeks, so I'm on my laptop a LOT. There's more of a byline than a storyline. It's the 1930s and Jennifer has a farm (so very 1930s I should imagine - not!). Eventually her husband - who we find out is called Mike at about level 30! - arrives to help, then her Grandma and finally her Grandpa - unless they're her parents and Jennifer and Mike have kids we don't see! They all have responsibility for particular tasks: Jennifer looks after the crops, collects water and removes random rocks, grass tussocks and peculiar tree stumps that appear without warning, where no tree ever was! Husband, as he is known for a long while, does the building work, works at the quarry and makes bricks, collects water and factory produce, and helps remove the unwanted items. Grandma cares for the animals, and rather strangely keeps her knitting needles and a stool cunningly concealed about her - mind you, you should see her shear the sheep! Grandpa repairs the fences around the animal pens, chops wood and works the sawmill, and collects the factory produce. I don't even want to think about where he keeps his axe! I'm only at Level 32, so he might do more (I'm in the process of building a pond, so maybe he goes fishing!). Helpful tips are that if you run out of "energy" (7 of the little blue bottles = 5 bolts of energy), wait three minutes and one will appear. Don't buy the multiple packs of energy because you lose out cost-wise. Other ways to acquire blue bottles are to click on: butterflies and fireflies; sharky; and moley. However, these will not always give you the blue bottle. Sometimes though you get extras, such as an item for your collections - a full collection will give you either money, gold, stars, or items for building projects; and possibly some stars (these increase your journey through the levels). Don't ever get anything from the guy at the bus stop! I haven't used real money to buy stuff for the game and have reached Level 32. I've got 2 clothes factories; 3 dairy factories; 3 fruit factories; and 3 cake factories. And nearly a pond! I found it cheaper to buy a whole new field for cows, sheep and poultry, than to use gold to upgrade the ones I already had. Note that you will have to grow or produce certain things in bulk for different clients or tasks. When you've completed all your achievements, there are trips around the States to make for other tasks. So there are always things to aim for which I really like. When I completed the achievements I thought I was going to get bored with the game, but then each level gives you opportunities to expand on what you grow and produce. Plan your crops: some have really long shelf lives, eg, wheat will last a day after ripening if you can't pick it early. Some have a really good yield and I use them to fund the bigger purchases, ie, buy brussels sprouts, sell them and buy wheat. Some can be used in canned products or other factories and when processed will provide huge dividends. I've only ever used goose, turkey and ostrich eggs to sell and fund other stuff. Chicken eggs are needed in the cake factory. Don't sell stuff you've made until you're sure you won't need it for something else, eg, don't spend gold on blueberries and just sell them. You may need them for other tasks. Sometimes you just have to sell stuff though to keep going. In that case, sell a part of high yield product, ie, if you have 20 vests, sell 10. These are things I wish I'd known at the beginning! So if you've managed to read through all this, well done! :D But I do hope it helps. This is a fab game, and even fab-er because it's FREE! Perfect for a Housewife I love this game.. It's perfect for in between chores. It is an all day game. And I'm not sure why people say it's not free. You just have to spend your gold coins wisely. The game rewards you with gold coins when you reach certain goals and quests. Or if you are impatient or just want to speed things up than a $1 here or there couldn't hurt. I like it.. I don't need "friends" to complete stuff and I don't have to ask for stuff. Completely addicted and happy to play this one. May 21, 2013
Great, and addicting! This game is 100% free. All purchases are optional. This game has many things for you to do, and lots of things to plant. I admit, the game is slow-paced. But you'll get used to it. The graphic are good, and the game itself is really simple and fun. This game makes you come back. This game is rewarding, and I recommend it you're into those farming games. June 5, 2013

have to be cleaver I am no big fan of usual strategy game. But after I got used to this game, I like it pretty much. You have to use your brain how you play it without spending your money. It's a real brain twister. If you think you are smart, try it. it is a challenge and a fun kind of challenge. May 15, 2013
