More of a Good Thing This game, like the first one, combines match 3 with subtle strategy. Some building elements have been added and the graphics in the city scenes are pleasingly bright and clear as is the matching grid. Having played the first game isn't at all necessary to enjoy this one, but if you like this installment, hurry and get the original as you'll find more of what makes this game fun. The rules are clear and easily found by clicking on a character during matching play or on city elements between rounds of matching. Music is bouncy but can be turned down in Options. If you like match 3, strategy or both, grab this game for a fun and novel twist on the themes. May 28, 2013
Even better than the original I loved Rolling Idols (the first game), but for the fact that it had a mandatory timer. This game has a moves counter instead of a timer, so you can take your time to make the best moves possible. This is a strategy game more than an ordinary match-3. You want to maximize your score by making the fewest moves. You can finish a level with gold, silver, or bronze. If you run out of moves, you can buy more or replay the level. The game has a good in-game tutorial, but you do have to read the instructions rather than play right through them. It gets progressively harder. This is by no means a kids' game. It is meant for players who are willing to learn how to play it well, rather than just make random matches. May 28, 2013
What a challenge! This game has a hidden challenge. You are to build pyramids allowing your brothers to escape. You are given star credits based on how long it takes you to fill the meter. If you fill the meter within the first set number of tries given, you get the most star points. If you fill the meter with the next set of tries, you get less and then you have a third try. If you don't fill the meter within those tries you get a minimum number of stars. Then you build the pyramids based upon your accomplishments. Throughout the game you can buy helps. The first that you can afford is the green guy and you get a frog. After making a match of 5, he appears on the screen. He can jump diagonally. Each little brother has its own help. Each has to be purchased. There are 3 levels of helps per brother. Each level costs more stars. It is challenging to meet the first set of tries. Then the cost rises. It seems like a simple game, but it is challenging. May 28, 2013
soooooo..... I get that I work with elements so whenever I match up at least 4 they burst into green leaves or red fireballs etc. There is lot of movement on this screen due to all the incoming new pieces and I never ran out of moves. I also like the clean up part. If you get enough bonus points, you can clean up vines and things or you can get upgrades. I got one upgrade but I am still not sure what it was suppose to do. Graphics are nice and very colorful, music is repetitive but not totally annoying. I am not sure I would buy this game, despite all the things you can do, it got a bit boring. May 28, 2013
not much of a story line no story line It was good I like it you must match 3 then help put the city back together again but it seem that fish game doesn't have to many challenge games that are fun anymore just the same over and over but different titles May 28, 2013
cute fun game for kids like bejeweled This is a kids game pretty much. Fun to play. Like bejeweled. No voice over so there is a little reading to do. You get points for scoring in a good time. There are different levels to advance to but the game is still matching at least 3 faces. The graphics are pretty good and the music does not distract from the game. No HOS or puzzles. Just a fun game to keep you busy. May 28, 2013
I don't get it Really, I don't. Pretty standard Match 3 game, goal is to build up the ruins. Colors are vivid, there are earned power ups, though I couldn't figure out how to use them. There are caged elements, keys to unlock them, but couldn't asertain how to use those, either. Played the hour freebie and still haven't figured out the total premise of the game. May use one of my freebie tokens and purchase this game, just to see if I can figure it out, or perhaps making it harder than it actually is. Other than that, it would be a "no go" for me. Not Sure What is Going On... Fast playing, but, it doesn't say how, why or what you get from your rewards. I only made it half way through, and will wait until others say more about this game. It looks like someone thought it through, but forgot to relay the message. May 28, 2013
MATCH 3 STRATEGY GAME Wow, this could have been a fantastic match 3 game with a twist, but it fell short because of lack of direction. Everything is thrown at you at once and you are expected to remember what move each specific idol can do. If that isn't confusing enough, after you complete each level you are to upgrade your idols and again a lack of direction leaves you wondering am I supposed to clean up the area or am I supposed to click on every element until I find which one I have enough funds to buy? The goal is to fill up the element meter within a specific amount of moves therefore you must think about which idols are the best to match. If you fill the meter within the first amount of moves given you get 3 stars, if you use those up the next number gives you only 2 stars and then only 1 star. Each element does a different thing such as jumping or moving an entire line, some have keys to unlock others or are entangled in vines. I am positive that if you play this game long enough you will be able to learn all the right moves and this game will be fun, but I don't think you can do this in an hour demo. I am recommending this only for that reason, if you have the time and patience this could be an enjoyable game. May 29, 2013
Pretty But No Depth -At first glance, only one mode of play (Adventure/Story) -Achievements -Stunning graphics -Decent music -Earn star points to restore the ruins and upgrade powerups -Basic match-3 game play When I first started up the game, I was blown away by the bright colors, gorgeous graphics, and overall cuteness. However as I continued on, I was underwhelmed by the very standard game play. I enjoyed being able to unlock more options, fix the ruins, and restore pyramids in order to fight off the evil god of chaos, however after about 30 minutes it became really repetitive and the rewards weren't satisfying enough for me to keep playing board after board. Beautiful game, but isn't keeping my interest. May 28, 2013
