Stray Souls - not Bad, not Great This game had a good storyline, but the puzzles and the HO's were predictable. I've played many many HO games, and perhaps it was just me, but I'm up to more of a challenge than this game offered. October 23, 2014
Really disappointing "sequel". This is nowhere as good as the first Stray Souls, there is very little originality. They take liberally from the first plot, and unfortunately added awful voiceovers that you can't turn off. It's supposed to be a CE but there are no collectables or morphing objects as in the first. The puzzles are simple, there are few hidden object scenes, and the black box comments remove any possible challenge (I played on expert mode): "oh this is a big block of ice I need an ice pick". "oh I need to remove this ice I saw some detergent downstairs". Ugh. This game just wasn't much fun, luckily I got it on sale. If you must play it, get the SE, I can't imagine this is worth the CE price. July 15, 2013
Only if you're new to Hidden Object Games This should be a GREAT game if you're new to hidden object games, but more experienced players may not find it much of a challenge. The game atmosphere is good, as are the graphics and basic gameplay. Unfortunately, the relatively few hidden object scenes I encountered I did not find at all challenging. There are more puzzles, but they seemed simplistic and too easy to solve. I generally play H.O. games on 'casual' the first time through; after about 15 minutes of this game I switched to 'expert' mode, and still didn't find it a challenge. The unasked-for 'help' by the doll was annoying, as it only seemed to point out things that I already knew, which pretty much boiled down to "Stop the bad guy! Save your daughter!" (um, DUH!), and "The Object you just gained is the one you need to fix the problem two rooms away!" Goodness, doll, you mean the exact object I've just spent the last 15 minutes searching for? I never would have guessed! I was very disappointed in the game. I really enjoyed the first Stray Souls game, and had been looking forward to the sequel, but after playing the trial version I decided not to buy the game. July 13, 2013
A walkthrough game Sorry this game is way to easy, puzzles and Ho's. The puzzles in the demo were ridiculously easy. Ho Hum is right. Why is it a collector's edition? Will definitely not be buying this one for collector's price. July 7, 2013
Stray Souls I believe to have a deja vu. The game offers nothing new. There is nothing that was not already there in other games. The scenes are boring and the puzzles too easy. I do not know how to be excited about the same again? Sorry, but that's not for me. July 7, 2013
Not For Me!!! I just could not get into, this game. I played for a while and gave up. Not that it was to creepy, just the graphs and scene's very disappointing to say, the least. I will pass. I am very fussy, about the games I buy. July 6, 2013
predictable Not a good game at all very predictable. Good for beginners only. July 9, 2013
Not as good as the first I loved the first game in this series. It still ranks as one of my all time favourite games. I can't believe that this is made by the same people. The game play was very linear, you got objects pretty close to where you needed them and they were not difficult to get. HOS's were too easy, puzzles the same. I'd say this was suitable for a novice player or a child. Would only buy it if I desperately needed to use up a punch card credit. July 8, 2013
Not my favorite. I was very dissapointed with this game. It was not challanging enough for me. The puzzles were easy. I was very let down. This game is no exception July 7, 2013
What A Rubbish Game!!!! This game wasn't challenging, it was easy. Hardly any Hidden object games, the mini games were so easy to play. Story was boring, didn't take long to complete game. Wouldn't say it was worth the money for a collectors addition. A snorefest, worse game ever !!!!! July 7, 2013
