Rush for Gold: Alaska
I'm perplexed by the positive reviews this game received...At a glance, it appears to be your typical "pathway" "MKFTP" sort of game, which frankly I'm a bit tired of by now but generally hold my interest. Hard to put my finger on it exactly, but there is something about this particular game that I disdain...it's ugly and annoying.
More "clicky" than strategy based...You have to click your resource buildings to send your worker to collect food, gold, etc. over and over (like 20 times per level) - why would this be enjoyable for anyone? So yes, the level of challenge is there, you have to be quick clicking your buildings to collect "150 food" before time runs out, but I much prefer to exercise my brain than my index finger.

I rushed to uninstall this game
Let me start off with the good. It's got a fun storyline and lots of promise. However, the game QUICKLY goes downhill.
I'm a huge fan of TM games, but when you are having your patience tested right off the bat before you can even get used to the game - then it's not worth playing, much less owning.
I don't like games that are 'too easy', but at the same time I don't like games that make you want to rip your hair out within the first 10 minutes of the game. Not being able to get 3 stars in the third level did it in for me. NOT worth it. I like a challenge - but only if it's a challenge I can actually meet. Bad game. REALLY bad game.

Starts out more like hidden object
I managed to play this for 2 minutes and then quit and deleted it immediately. The first picture in the description area is where the game starts out at. You are to find the luggage for the train customers. I did it, as I said, for 2 minutes and was bored and annoyed. I detest HOGs and although the game might bet better I wasn't willing to deal with game customers to get to it. I don't want to have to deal with customers in a game or in real life. As soon as I realized how much luggage was there to collect and deliver to the customer, I quit the game.
