Game was ok
Not fond of having to click for food and water. And was not too challenging. Think I only had to redo 2 levels more than once. Recommend only for beginners to Time Management. Good game to gain experience for more challenging games.

Not as good as some of the other builder/time management games.

Fun Timed Game - Not Very Challenging
It was fun, but not that challenging. There wasn't much strategy to figure out. It didn't take very long to play the whole thing -- I rarely had to play a round more than once or twice. I got it on sale though and for the money, it was fun.

easy to complete
The game was good fun but a little to easy. I completed every level within the 'gold' time first time I tried. I prefer games that require you to have a stratergy - particularly in the later levels. Good for a beginer.

Good fun game
Easy to play, cute characters & storyline but way too short! I completed it in about 3 hours. Not very challenging either but good for inexperienced TM gamers

Soothing TM Game
The graphics are pleasant and the music suitable in a cinematic style. The game play is mostly soothing.
Kingdom Tales is a resource management TM, but the water/food/curse mechanic introduces a certain clickiness. Fortunately for me, the clicking is not frantic, and the game remains more about planning your actions than reaction times!
You have an unlimited number of workers, so the lack of queued actions is not a huge deal. The big constraints are building spots, road hazards (and time).
The tutorial can be skipped on a level by level basis.
You might need to restart a level on occasion, but the same basic strategy works pretty much everywhere to come in in "Kingdom" time. On the other hand, there are point scores to optimize for people looking for a bit more challenge.

Not so hot.
I play most all time management games when they come out with the exception of the dine and dash type. I was excited to play this game based on the prior reviews only to be bored to death.
I finished the game, but half way through I was ready for it to be over. The story was droll and the dialog was worse. The game play was repetitious and not much of a challenge. You could easily map out what you were going to do at the beginning of the level and then it was a lot of slowly waiting for the money to build so you could accomplish the tasks. I admit that not every level required a lot of cash to complete, but they were far and few between. The strategy needed was minimal.
The graphics were nice except for the line of demarcation showing the pieced scenery on either side of the active game play area. Am sorry I bought this one.

same old same old
I was really excited to see a new TM game, but alas, my excitement was short-lived. It is the same old tried and true formula that all TM gamers are familiar with. Found nothing new or exciting and stopped playing after level 4. Basically, I already own this game many times over...but, those still longing for any type of time management may find it fun.

Boring and Repetitive
I played the 1 hour trial without being too impressed, but I purchased it due to the high star rating of the game hoping it would be better.
Fun Factor 2/5- It is similar in theme and mechanics to the Royal Envoy games, but they have added curses and magic. This really did not add a lot to the gameplay, except that it was a little annoying.
Visual/Sound Quality 4/5- It is no better or worse than any of the others in this genre. Cartoonish and repetitive would be an accurate description here, but I usually turn the music off anyways.
Level of Challenge 1/5- This is really bad. There is nothing new of note after the first half of the game. Your workers, which are all unlimited, upgrade pretty quickly without any noticeable speed that I could discern. Every level has variations on the same theme, and the goals do not really increase in difficulty. There were a few buildings introduced in levels that I never used past that level because they were expensive, and I did not see any true benefit.
In other games in the genre, I typically have to leave the game for awhile on certain levels because I am having a difficult time reaching a "star", but this one I had to leave because I just was not having fun.
Storyline 2/5- I do not play these for storyline, but it does help. I found this one to be silly.

Dull Time Management Game
I bought the game based off of reviews camparing the game to other top time management games. Major letdown.
I spent the entire game waiting for the action to start. I managed to complete all the levels within the alloted time with no difficulty at all, in fact, most of the levels I spent waiting for the required items to arrive, most of the gameplay done in the first half of the level. There was no hard or advanced game.
The visuals were ok, but there was a lot of background and the building sites were small and did not stand out. There was no noise to tell you that it was time to click on a building, so you were constantly checking all your buildings to see if they needed clicking, which was tedious.
The storyline was the same old.
