Amazing Adventures: The Lost Tomb 3.9 5 16 16
Egyptian Fun This is a fairly challenging hidden object game, especially given the size of the objects to be found & the overall screen resolution of the scenes . . . Nevertheless, it's worth the effort, & if you find all 21 scarabs, you unlock the Secret Game Mode, which allows you unlimited game play in each location . . . The game is pretty straight-forward: you play a hidden object location, & then solve a puzzle, which is usually a memory match round, or a jigsaw puzzle . . . You can play this all timed, or untimed (relaxed) . . . The end puzzle is moderately difficult, but if you play around with it with some patience, it's solvable . . . January 1, 2012
Classic HO Game Very Old Now Story: A piece of an ancient map was discovered and is believed to reveal the location of the Lost Tomb of Egypt. Under the direction of the Museum, you must immediately begin your adventure to locate the Lost Tomb and the treasures locked within. Developer: PopCap Games Release Date: Nov 2007 Extras: High Scores, Times and Collectibles, Unlimited HOs This game is a little old now, so the graphics aren?t great. And as with most early HO games the story is largely non-existent and the gameplay is regimented and repetitive. All the AA games follow very much the same pattern. One crowded, cluttered, non-interactive and irrational junk pile, followed by a simple puzzle: repeat 20 times. They do have collectibles, which unlock unlimited play mode on the HOs, and as they are timed and scored games, top scores ranks are an achievement of sorts. Personally, I don?t like these games, but I think that they are quite good examples of pure HO games, so if that?s what you like, I?d recommend it. February 22, 2013
Love the series games Nice graphics, sounds, HOGS...not too easy, not to hard to get yourself frustrated! I will continue to enjoy to play this game time and time again November 25, 2011
Easy Hidden Object Puzzle Game This is a great HOP with a HO scene followed by a puzzle. In each HO scene you have to find an added extra. Graphics are brilliant. Your game is scored so it does have lots of replayability so you can try and beat your score. This genre is my ideal as I love HO's and puzzles. Unfortunately they have made the puzzles just far too easy - i.e. you place jigsaw pieces onto the picture so you know exactly where to place each piece. Again when you have to swap puzzle pieces to create a picture, the picture is underneath so that you can see exactly which piece goes where. April 21, 2012
I simply love these Adventure games! HOGs with a bit of a twist I love the Pop Cap games, and this one is no exception. Like others have mentioned, the Hidden Object Scenes are a bit difficult at times, but overall, the graphics are awesome. You will definitely get your money's worth here. The storyline is good, and it is a fairly long game. I have played all of these "Amazing Adventure" games from start to finish in one sitting each, because they are, for me, difficult to stop playing once I get started. I don't want to give too much information, so that it ruins the game for you, but you won't be disappointed. There are some ways to unlock unlimited game play, which I always enjoy. Check it out for yourself. This is a fun game to play, and chances are, you will find yourself buying every one. Have fun...It's a wholesome game, with good graphics, a plot and good audio, as well. You won't be disappointed with this one....at least I wasn't. I did need to wear my glasses with this one, LOL...but that is okay. Oh!...If you like the Vacation Quest games, you'll love this one. Enjoy! I do recommend this game. July 18, 2012
Repetitive It is not a bad game. The objects weren't too hard to find, but there were sooo many levels. There are 20 missions and 6-7 levels in each, plus they use the same objects and scenes and puzzles over and over till you are really tired of it. I did the same jigsaw puzzles over and over. One nice feature is that you can unlock a secret mode after a while where you can go to each scene and find all the hidden objects that are there, usually like 70-85 or so objects. It's just that by the time you finish the game, you don't want to go back there and find them all.....again. lol February 22, 2012
Enjoyable I was introduced to this game via a friend and I just had to get my own copy of it. Nothing much I can say about this one since it's just a standard HO game but I did enjoy it. January 22, 2012
good game, but......... I enjoy all the Amazing Adventure games. Its not too dark, as many are (so items are not too hard to find. My only problem was the upside down American flag in one of the 'Find the difference' games. March 5, 2012
Lets take a trip to Egypt.and we can walk like an Egyption. I think this was the first Amazing Adventure i bought that Pop Cap did, all of the game are good and set in diffrent Countrys as it says your in an Egyptshion Tomb you have to find H.O and some mini games the graphics on this one are a bit poor but it is an old game when i bought it had great graphics but pc graphics know are far better. repetitive The game is long with 20 levels but the scenes where you find the hidden objects are the same over and over. The objects you have to find change a little but you get to the point where you pretty much know where things are and the puzzle screens are the same over and over. It gets boring after a while.
