Cedric's back! Brilliant! I didn't bother with the demo, just went ahead and bought the game :). I had high expectations and have not been disappointed. As usual, another great game in the Royal Envoy series. Lovely graphics and music perfectly suited to the game. The storyline is great and I'm glad the developers have come up with something original - again - not just a re-hash of the previous stories. The gameplay has changed but only slightly; enough to keep it interesting and more challenging but it's still familiar. I've just finished the Floating Islands level and I love the new rabbit holes. I just hope I can keep tabs on how many workers I've got on which island. I'm also wondering at which level it's going to get really difficult and I have to take many attempts to get three stars - it's getting earlier with every new RE. Cedric, as usual, is a great character and nicely joins all three games together. It's also good that they've managed to keep the same voice for the King in the voice-overs. Judging by the 'screenplay' when exiting the game I'm really intrigued to see what's coming up. I don't think my other half is going to get much sense out of me until I've finished this game, and done the expert mode, and done the bonus levels. I do hope there will be more in the series and the developers can think of another original story as I really enjoy RE. I still go back and play the other two fairly regularly, the HO/puzzle games don't really get a look-in nowadays. September 7, 2013
Vote for the King! Royal Envoy has another great hit! Whoo Hoo! I was so excited to see a TM game today after a 2 week drought, and then looked closer to see that it was one of my favorites, Royal Envoy! I love this series, and this game is no exception. We get to revisit our old friends and once again help save the Kingdom. This time, a nefarious character, the Swindler, challenges the King for the rule of the Kingdom. The Kingdom must hold an election to see who will rule. The Swindler doesn't play fair, and we must help the King both rebuild the Kingdom and beat the Swindler in the election. I had my card out as soon as the demo was over and am excited to play the rest of the game. Loved it, and hope this is the end of yet another TM drought. Keep 'em coming Big Fish. We are tired of HOG;s every day! September 7, 2013
Great Sequel!!! Happiness reigns today as the family found out that Cedric and the King are back (along with many other friends). No reason to play the demo, bought it straight out. I have not been disappointed. The levels are new, fun, and challenging. I highly recommend this game. September 7, 2013
I Voted for the King (of Time Management Games)! First thing first: There is no "relaxed" mode. That's because unlike many TM games, obtaining stars is actually a mechanic in this version of RE - it determines who wins the election. For those people who need queuing, there isn't that, either. I didn't notice the lack of it in gameplay, though. The game played much like RE2, and in my opinion that's because it's difficult to improve on a great system. There some are new mechanics involved... Rabbit holes can be found in the floating island levels. There's a flooding problem that can only be solved by luring an elephant to suck up the water. There are absolutely infuriating pirates/druids you have to pay to keep the darkness/fog at bay... And I like the building lots on the water - I wish there were more levels like that. There are also some cool one-off levels. The whack-a-mole worker rescue, the mining of coal from falling stalactites, the growing of the trees and food, the thieves at the bank, and the balloon inflating... All of those served as welcome and interesting levels. And just when I thought the game was over, I discovered that there are an extra 30 levels to play in the Challenges section! The storyline is adorable. My work-at-home husband was frequently distracted from his job because he wanted to know how the election was going. And the little videos were quite awesome. The theme of the game is fun and entertaining, and I most certainly had fun and was entertained! September 11, 2013
Hugely entertaining and replayable Another hit from the Royal Envoy series. The story line is pretty funny and the new features, such as rabbit holes, are entertaining. I love all the Royal Envoy games and the collector's edition is definitely worth it for the extra 30 levels. The only bummer was that Playrix got rid of the Villas and Mansions in this Royal Envoy game. It's not as challenging as #1, but about the same as #2. Overall, I recommend this game, have played it several times and would buy it again. September 7, 2013
absolutely fabulous! I loved all the Royal Envoy games and was waiting and waiting for a sequel and oh boy it was worth the wait! thanks so much!!!!! it is even better than the other two if that is possible. a little difficult but so much fun to play and after a few tries I usually get it, which makes it worth the while. so not too easy but not too hard! it is truly the best! Fast Paced and Fun! Though I've played a lot of this style of game - build houses, upgrade, collect rent and resources - I decided to try this one anyway. It was cute (especially the elephant) and clever and quite entertaining. I don't know that there is anything particularly special about it or what the collector's edition offers, but it's worth a run through the demo. September 7, 2013
We need this game for MAC customers!! I played this game on my friend's computer for little bit (on PC) and I ENJOY IT!! I wonder when it's going to be available for us MAC users... December 6, 2013
My brain hurts! This game will make your brain hurt because each part is a puzzle with each having various scenarios that you have to figure out before your time runs out, getting the expert 3 stars is a real challenge. Then you go to the next level and find out some of the characters you had to use last time, now are the ones delaying your play! This is a long, long game well worth the money, the theme is comical & light making you first think this is a little kids game, then sucks you in. I highly recommend this game and the collectors edition has many challenge levels that really give you a headache! September 19, 2013
Excellent third installment I loved Royal Envoy and Royal Envoy 2, and I wasn't disappointed in this third installment of the excellent time management game. The story is a little cheesy, but always good. The graphics are just what we've come to expect from Royal Envoy. The game itself is similar to Royal Envoy 2 in it's instructions, but it's no longer necessary to click to pick up resources. Just mouse over them. Looking forward to playing every level!
