Way too short I loved City of Fools so was very excited to see another of the same type so didn't bother with a demo. Kinda wish I had now. I finished the game the same day I bought it and played if for approximately 1 hour. Way too short. I will go back and play and select different options with the Professor to see if that makes a difference to the length of the game. I want to say I recommend the game but because of the length I am going to say no. January 19, 2014
Worth the wait? We, who have played the "City of fools", and loved it, have been waiting for a sequel (of some sort). Seeing this game made me giddy with the thought of having my desires met. Starting well, with a great plot, I was somewhat in shock to find a quick to play, quick to finish game. The game is great, for what is is. But it left me with, what can be likened to, a back scratch that lasts just long enough to hit the itch, and then leave you just as fast. I am now wishing to see another sequel to finish my itch. Good to buy when drops in price, or as a freebie January 15, 2014
quite fun too bad this game seems to be a beta version. Some (and quite a few by the way) things are not translated from russian. January 15, 2014
O.K. I'm not sure! I haven't left a review in a while. I just haven't played a new game lately that was different or worth buying or reviewing. They all seem the same. This game is definitely different and fun to play. I bought it with a game credit without playing the demo. It was fun but way to short. When I saw all the buildings on the map I thought this was going to be a long adventure but you went back to the same places several times. The games & HO scenes were easy maybe a little too easy for the HO pros like me. Then boom you found the bad guy and were done. You do get to make the decision on how the game ends. Do you arrest the bad guy or join him. I liked it but it was way to short. Recommend for a simple alternative to the long complex all the same adventure/not really HO games out there. Wish for more play time. I usually do not buy HOG however, this one is so much fun and very interactive. I played the demo and then bought the game. Not happy because within 2 hours of game play I was finished. Still more places on the map that could have been investigated. Save your money or free credit. January 21, 2014
Fun game but way too short I actually liked this game better because you could go to the map and click on the location which made it easier to get around, but the game was way TOO short! January 20, 2014
Not City of Fools quality Based on demo: This game cannot hold a candle to City of Fools. That game was just plain fun. This was a bit boring. You could go anywhere in City to find things. This game restricts access to all areas except a few. Takes a lot of the fun of exploring out of game. I haven't decided about buying this game. Glad I tried it but disappointed. I recommend trying this game before buying. January 16, 2014
Sooooooooo short Cute game. Funny characters. Not always clear with what should be done. But you will get to the end in 2 hours max. I do not recommend bying it. January 13, 2014
Absolut boring! When I saw the graphics I thought "wow, another one like City of Fools". But here all the fun is gone. Everything is served on a tray. No need to think for yourself. One task is done after another. You even havn't to look for the way or explore the houses. A click on the map and you're there. Even the lovable quirks of the charakters are gone. January 13, 2014
*not* an immersive hidden object game I can't believe they even bothered to release this game. unless it's your first hidden object game you're not going to be challenged. and if it is your first HO game, you're going to be turned off of the genre. you start out by popping a pill, passing out, and coming to being kicked out of the police station. your luggage is tossed out right after you. you then go to the hotel, where the desk clerk (and everyone else you come across# speaks to you in the mumbled style of Charlie Brown's teacher. the HO scenes lean towards the mostly-obscured items, almost everything is halfway or more behind something else. but it's still very easy to find the items. the puzzles I cam across were quite easy. the gameplay is basic, yet still not easy to follow. instructions might have been a nice thing to have. it doesn't tell you anywhere that you can combine items #one HO scene has you find items, then put them back where they belong - two items you put away need to be put together before you can place them#. there are no puzzle instructions #though they're really not necessary). the green button in the left corner appears to be the hint/skip button, and the red button takes you out of the puzzle/HO scene. I still haven't determined what exactly the storyline is. you pop back and forth between locations with a jump map, but when I quit the guy at the train station had me looking for a wig before he'll tell me what locker to use the code on. just bizarre. I played a half hour hoping that it would improve but that was in vain. January 13, 2014
