The Best Word Game Around
Lex is at his best and is so adorable throughout the whole game. It is filled with fun and alot of laughter with a bunch of suprises.
I have played it 4 times so far and it still amazes me, each time, as to just how many new and longer words that I have learned! It surely sent me back to my dictionary and at my age that's a good thing.
Awesomely great game for adults as well as children!!

Extremely Addictive Wordplay, Fun, Fun, Fun...
For anyone into word games this is a keeper that never disappoints!
It's a lot of game for the money. There are so many levels new facets and twist and turns that it takes a long while before reaching the end.
Lex, our bookworm has adventures and missions that take place in various parts of the world and the underworld. Along the way he faces all manner of evil and scary, yet funny opponents.
The object is for Lex to destroy the beasties by creating words from a given block of tiles with letters. Once mission accomplished, Lex receives a reward such as increased strength or health.
The graphics are crisp, bright, and colorful, in cartoon style without being gaudy. There is humor woven throughout with even the Medusa cracking wise. Smack talk and missions are given via text without voice overs. This is a-ok by me.
I haven't come across another game in this genre that compares. This is the only one I play as the others seem drab and dull. Somehow a simple wordplay game converts to action scenarios - all fun and funny with challenge.
If Lex runs out of steam and meets his demise, he is directed to play some fun and clever mini-games that replenish his resources so he is locked and loaded to re-start where he left off.
This game is for kids of all ages and once started is tough to stop. It's an hour past bedtime so just one more level...3 hours later --- maybe just one more.....yeah, I'll stop then...
Kudos to the company and team that put this game together and continues to enhance it. It has evolved quite a bit since I first discovered it a couple of years ago.
Fun, fun, fun wordplay.

This Game Rules!
This game is one of my favorite games. The things that you have to fight look awesome! The main idea of the game is to rescue the princess from one of the library books, and along the way, you meet evil creatures whom you have to go past, and you have to defeat them with the power of words! The cast of baddies include: 8 headed hydra, Cyclops, phantom, medusa, sea witch, siren, blob, bull man, genie, 3 headed puppy, and more exciting and amusing baddies and goodies.

Better than Deluxe!
The game had a storyline. You must rescue Cassandra
Potions helped you alng the game. There were healh potions, Purity potions and Power up potions.
The treasures were really helpful. They sometimes made the difference between wether I won or lost.
Good graphics, much better than Deluxe. The developers have really improved.
Really fun, a lot more fun than Bookworm Deluxe.
Easier than Bookworm deluxe.
Minigames added even more fun to the game.
Sometimes the levels finished too quickly.
Lex's voice is really whiny and annoying.
The game is really repetitive and gets boring after a while.
Overall, this is a good game. It's really fun and a great vocabulary building tool. People of all ages are sure to love it.
