Download for FREE...However the rest of the game isn't... Each area (3+# needs repairs and it will drain your gold bar reserves in no time! I've bought the 2nd big amount of coins and 2x 1050 gold bars which will last as long as you don't upgrade your areas beyond level 3 otherwise this game will cost you a small fortune and then some -; # You do gain coins and gold bars while gaining experience which increases as you "Level up" after completing each of the quests...There's lots to do ...Just take it a step at a time! In Love with a Game I would normally hate! In general, I?m not very fond of HOGs and I detest games that require real money to advance. I never intended to get this game, I accidentally downloaded it. Given that, it?s insane how much I love this game! The majority of poor reviews state the game is too confusing. I really don?t understand that. They only thing I can think is perhaps they are playing online whereas I have the game on my computer just like any other BF game. It walks you through every new event step by step, in fact, some of the help screens become a tad annoying when you?ve played the same event 20 times already but they are easy to ignore. I think what some people do not understand is that this is not a straight HOG game, or a game with a defined end. It?s a combination of many types of games all rolled into one. There are tasks that require waiting, earning supplies and monetary resources, similar to Farm Town or any of the other popular FB games. You have the option of spending gold bars to speed the progress of the game. You also have the option to buy gold bars for real money but there is no reason to do this. The game rewards you with everything you need to continue, and does so rather quickly. It is also a strategy and time management game and I think that is also confusing some people. You have to use your resources strategically and some of those resources have time limits. For example there are many items (sort of like power-ups) that increase your Experience Points or coins for a limited time. You have to account for what you already have, what you need and which special item to use in order to make the most of the time allowed. Several people don?t understand the concept of returning to the same HOG scene repeatedly. This is how you earn the most experience and resources. If you think of it as a Farming game, thinking of your energy level as waiting for your crops to grow. Once you have enough energy, you then play the HOGs (think of harvesting crops) in order to earn enough resources to complete other quests. The fun part about returning to HOGs, for people like me who don?t really enjoy them I guess, is that it becomes a race to get the items as quickly as possible to earn the most resources. By repeating the scenes you A: are able to increase your winning and B: are also earning points to that particular site. There are trophies for each site and the more you play a site, the more resources you earn. So again there is strategy involved. You can replay easy sites that you have memorized repeatedly to earn resources quickly, then advance to the new sites and take your time learning the scene. As for me, the best part of this game is that it is absolutely free with no advertisements, constant pop-ups asking you if you want to share your results, etc. You can buy gold if you want, if you spend 6.99 on a credit, you can spent that same amount on gold, but you don?t have to. You just have to be patient. One thing I did NOT understand at first that may be useful to know is that when you ?fix? or ?upgrade? a building as part of a quest, using the resources you have earned, you have the option of using Gold Bars to complete the upgrade immediately. At first, I thought the use of Gold was making a second upgrade, which is not the case. After upgrading a building you may or may not see construction work (I didn?t in the first two quests). If you click on that you will see a timer, with the option to use Gold. This is telling you how long it will take to upgrade the building. If you use the Gold, it will immediately complete that task, but you can just wait and it will complete without the use of Gold. October 18, 2013
The Hidden Object game I've always wanted! I have always wanted just a nice, light Hidden Object game to play without the heavy adventure and puzzles. If you like that, you'll love this. I also love how you can upgrade the town and make it nice again! The theme is also great - it's just the right game to play when you've had a long day. September 26, 2013
Fun game! Since the game is free, I downloaded the game and it's pretty fun! Haven't tried the other antique road trip but I might it get! Nice art and music! September 26, 2013
Amazingly addictive and fun game! I love this game! Absolutely love it. The scenes are beautiful, the game just doesn't stop. It makes me want to keep on continue and continue. The HO scenes a very well done. Although the items do not change places, it doesn't feel boring at all because before long, the HO scenes will evolve into different game play modes that makes every game interesting! I am absolutely hooked. September 25, 2013

I love it! It's a great game to unwind to. The quest pacing is good, and the items are challenging enough that you don't feel rushed to play it. If you were fond of the past Antique Road Trip games, you'll like this one too. September 26, 2013
On first anniversary started a new game I love it so much I have absolutely loved this game and after a year started a new game. None of the gloom and darkness that is so prevalent in most of the games offered and definitely not a kiddie game either. There are so many things to focus on at different times. In the beginning a quest might have to be left until one has the resources to finish it or your energy might run out faster than one would like, but these are small frustrations and pass. Sure and steady wins this race. This is not a beginning and end game but one that can be played for a long time- as in overall time span of weeks/months not it is not over in a few hours or one day. You want instant success, go pay for a game that ends in less than 10 hours of play. Want something engaging that you have to actually have to think about and come up with strategies? This is the one for you. Having as much fun with the new game as I did the first time through. Many of us, who started playing in Sept 2013 when it was issued, have said they have never spent a dime to play; personally, I spent money because I wanted it to go faster but when as is said we all ended up in the same place level 100, which is no where to go until BigFish decides to release the update. It is a free-to-play game, so you have to decide how much money you want to spend but remember that is your choice. Might also add that it is not as expensive as some of the other FTP if you do decide to put a little money into it. Overall, my long term investment of time against money spent is pennies on the hour - a great entertainment value. If you are a linear person who wants a start, a path laid out for you to follow, and a definite end and clear directions - this is not the game for you. However, since the game can be as simple or as complicated as a person wants to make it and you are a person that likes overcoming obstacles this is the game for you! Countless hours of pure pleasure have been had at ART AD and I am looking forward to new content so I can again immerse myself in the game. October 1, 2014
3 games in 1 All the fun of hidden object scenes plus mini games and quests and if that isn't enough fun you have the added game of playing the auctions! The best thing about this game is it changes dcor with themes for all the seasons, you can also upgrade your towns and shop. June 4, 2014
