Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood is the sequel to the smash hit Enigmatis: The Ghost of Maple Creek. It is a detective story rich with horror, plot twists, and shadowy intrigue.

A year has passed since the events of Maple Creek. But for the past few months, our detective has been hot on the trail of the demonic preacher she fought one year ago. Yet he has managed to always stay one step ahead. She hoped to bring an end to the chase in the redwood forests of Northern California. But like so many times before, the trail went cold...

Then she encountered an abandoned camper in the middle of the highway. Enormous claw marks scored the roof and the lost family’s personal belongings were scattered everywhere. All signs pointed to the scene being fresh.

And all clues led into nearby Ravenwood Park...

You can't always believe the hype!! After reading all the rave reviews, I was really disappointed because I believed the hype! I bought the game right away. The storyline was lacking and kind of disjointed. the gameplay did not flow smoothly, because the storyline kept jumping around. This left one feeling lost in the game (and I play alot of them!!!). quite annoying and frustrating at times! The map was just lame. the morphing objects were so obvious, it seemed like not alot of effort or imagination went into that. The graphics were good, run of the mill, they could have been fantastic in such a beautiful forrest setting. The ambiance was quite dark, but no thrill factor for me. I usually finish a game in one night, two at the most when the game is engaging and fun!.. not this time. I still haven't quite finished it after one week! This game was really not one of my faves at all! October 15, 2013
I think BFG needs to find a new hidden object game creator(s) This was no challenge, kind of run of the mill. Graphics too were not stunning as I hoped. Sure, the artists spent a lot of time rendering each frame but it's just too heavy handed, needs a little more finnesse. Game play is like any other HO, the puzzles were the same ones being used in HO games for many many years. Nothing new here. October 2, 2013
Waste of purchase.!!! First of all graphics were clear, I will give it that. Some games are creepy, in a good way this, was not. Trees branches not good. HO'S to short hate that. Over all I don't recommend this games. You decide. I also don't like jungle games especially on a CE. The scenery just not great at all. October 4, 2013
GLAD IT'S OVER, MORE DEMONS, TREE ROOTS, BORING X 100 BASED ON COMPLETED GAME ON EXPERT LEVEL Wow! I absolutely hated this game in spite of Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek being among one of my favorite games. I couldn't wait for this game to come out. I had to force myself to finish this game and when I had, I was very glad it was over. I was so bored. First of all, more demon worship....head demon, his minions, human sacrifice to sustain demons, little girl in jeopardy and only I can save her and the world. Like I haven't heard that story before. Add onto that the oft repeated story line of the tree roots taking over and strangling, sucking the life out of the world and all the good things that inhabit it, and imo, you have a disaster of a game. I kept thinking I had played it before. The puzzles are RIDICULOUSLY EASY, there is a lot of back and forth movement and the HOS are simple. In short: Old fashioned graphics Worn out story Easy puzzles Lots of back tracking Demons and more demons Tree roots and more tree roots Boring music Nothing challenging Nothing new No originality And if I hear my character call that little girl "sweetheart" one more time I'm gonna scream. Seriously folks, even if you loved Enigmatis....please try the demo first and make sure this game is for you. September 27, 2013
Why Oh Why Have You Messed With Enigmatis 20 reviews ALL 5 stars? This is muddled, weird & confusing. The last Enigmatis was wonderful. Why do you "fix" things that ain't broke? This is all fantasy type stuff. Not everyone likes that. VERY disappointed. Some of us still like good old fashioned Adventures. Enigmatis doesn't need monsters. September 26, 2013
Terrible game I could only stand to play 15 min. It was just horrible! September 27, 2013
