Very close to a great game I waited for quite a while to write a review for this game, because early reviews often miss a lot in a complex game. That is clearly the case with this game. Just to respond to a few criticisms (with due respect for everyone's opinion): I have played most or all of this developer's games, and I don't find this game more imitative than is inherently necessary in a match-3 game. I think it provides a very new combination of "move the pieces to the bottom" and obstacles to doing that. Also, this game is definitely not too easy. The spreading sand is much like the spreading tar in "Heroes of Kalevala" in that it can easily block you from doing anything helpful. Also, once you have played a particular country, challenges will be added to each level. I have not seen those yet, but I have to assume they are harder than just playing the level. Last, although pop-up hints cannot be turned off in the Options menu, the hints have a "stop giving hints" box. I don't know if that turns off the hints in the score box as well, but they are not spoilers, and one doesn't have to read them. My only picky criticism of the game so far is this: The first five or so segments each had a country-related set of game pieces and music. Once I got to the Vikings, the Native American theme repeated. I didn't like that. Otherwise, I consider the game very much an excellent match-3 game with a somewhat inventive story, but not much extra #like buying items or building something visual# going on. I look forward to the challenges I have not met yet. October 23, 2013
Perfect Match 3 game Everything I want in a match 3 game; voice talking, excellent graphics, a little help and something to achieve. I bought it after playing for 45 minutes. Keep up the good work on the Match 3 games which are my favorite. I play only on untimed mode to relax. October 24, 2013
WOW!!! What a spectacular new release from BFG! One of the best if not THE best match 3 I have ever played. This one has HD graphics, cut scenes, fully voiced characters, achievements/trophies, decent music and great sound effects. The gameplay is very smooth and engaging, which is a must for a match 3. Heck, this one even has somewhat of a story, as it walks players through an admittedly vague and generalized telling of historic artifacts. Best use of a game credit I could recommend! ~ Virtual History Class In A Match 3 Game ~ This game was amazing! I was so engrossed in play that I actually jumped when my hour ran out. After skipping the annoying intro with an unimpressive backstory you are taken to the map. Your journey starts in America. The year is 1795. The movie contains historically interesting facts and you are asked to journey through the next few levels to recover the peace pipe of the First Nations people. The background art, artifacts, and sound FX reflect the culture of the current map. Your task is to get the broken pieces of artifact to the bottom of the screen to replace them. Meanwhile, matching > 4 tiles at a time charges a medallion that blows up multiple tiles when activated. Other power-ups are thrown in for good measure and are collected when they reach the bottom of the screen. Your next virtual vacation is Renaissance Italy where you are restoring the Atlas of Claudius Ptolemy to its former glory. I made it to level 13 before my hour ran out. Is that unlucky? In addition to THAT, you can earn over 40 achievements which are viewed with the Achievements button. You can also opt to review the History movies with the click of another button. If you're not a History buff, there are also options to skip the commentary and movies. Another winner from Play R Rix October 23, 2013

awesome three match I like it very much fun easy my granddaughter love all big fish games so do I keep up the good work.. October 23, 2013
Love this game! As soon as I saw this was a Playrix game I knew I would like it. It reminds me of 'Around the World in 80 Days'. There are 8 countries with 8 time periods. An artifact for each country has been destroyed and the player must restore the artifact. The play level becomes more difficult as you progress. There are 90 levels. The graphics are good and the music is very nice. There is also some information about the country's time period as an introduction to the level. I learned something new listening to that. ! I would recommend this game. October 23, 2013
