Halloween Mosaics If you love logical games, this game is for you. And good time for Halloween even better. The graphics and the sound is fantastic. This is a keeper for me. October 28, 2013
Fun Hidden Object Game! A Fantastic Game For Halloween Party October 28, 2013
Halloween Pic Cross! Well it's not the "world" BUT it's still a fun pic cross game with a lighthearted spooky theme. The graphics are okay and the music was a good Halloween tune. The puzzles progress quickly and I did notice that the clicks were very sensitive especially when clicking on an entire row. You are only allowed 2 mistakes before losing and having to restart the level. the object of the game is to figure out which tiles are lit up to form a picture on a grid format. Each horizontal and vertical row have a specific amount of tiles to be lit, after that number has been figured out for instance 2 2 2 1 would mean 2 tiles lit. an x in the next space two more tiles lit an x space and so on. Once you get the hang of it you will probably get quite addicted, enjoy! October 28, 2013
Addictive This game is by the same people who brought us Asian Puzzles. There are only 6 Rooms this time, however there are more levels per room than Asian Puzzles. After several levels are played, you can purchase hints and/or misses. I keep playing Asian Puzzles over & over. The only negative I have (4 stars) is that the X's are orange & more difficult to see than an X that is black, otherwise this is a fun game to play as a break from HO games. Give it a try, you might just become as addictive to it as me. October 28, 2013
Good puzzle game The game is a lot like World Mosaics but sometimes the solution is not quite so obvious. There is no story line but I really don't need that anyway. I love these puzzle games. I get so tired of all the HO games. October 29, 2013
Love this type of game I would love to give this game a five but the game had a few issues. The music became annoying very quickly along with the clanking sound they use for the block out squares. The filling in the squares went a little slow for me, but I loved the level of challenge which starts out very easy and progressively gets harder. I was a little confused what I was supposed to do with the pumpkin in the corner, tried to use it but was unsuccessful. As you play you earn candies to purchase hints, mistakes etc. I really liked this game and will probably buy with one of my credits, but will make sure I don't have the music on. October 28, 2013
Nice addition to my collection of mosaic games IF you enjoy mosaic games, as I do, this is a nice one to have. You begin with only two mistakes allowed, but as you progress you can buy more--and you buy them with points and "candy" you've earned, not with "real" money, as you have to in Royal Riddles (to which this game bears a marked resemblance). You have to earn enough points to open the next locked level, and I had to go back and replay some in order to earn those points (which I think is good). I enjoy the challenge that this game provides; I'm not even halfway through and the puzzles have become tough, but not impossible. There is no story line to speak of, and the backgrounds are not the best artistically, but since I'm more interested in successfully competing the mosaic, a story and backgrounds that you can't see most of the time are unnecessary. I cannot comment on the music, since I play with the sound turned off. Overall, it's a decent addition to this genre of games and I give it four stars. October 29, 2013
Decent Riddle-Type Game I love this type of game - and there just isn't enough of them! I thought Fill and Cross: Trick or Treat was a cute Halloween edition of this type of game - where you are given number clues for the rows and columns and you have to determine which squares to choose to complete the puzzle picture. If you are into this type of game, I would recommend it. October 31, 2013
Okay if you like nonograms This is a simple version of nonograms, similar to the popular "World Mosaics 1-7" series. You have to figure out which squares to check in the various rows and columns. It has a Halloween theme. If you really like this type of puzzle, you'll get some enjoyment from it. However, it was sometimes hard to see if I had made a mistake; I was forced to guess at times so not a true nonogram; and when I left the game and tried to return, couldn't easily find where I had stopped. I wouldn't pay full price for it -- will wait for the next sale. October 28, 2013
Unsophisticated & Low Key Fun! BASED ON DEMO FIRST IMPRESSIONS The few minutes when I am not playing HOPAs, I spend with this type of game. This one is not particularly memorable, but it is a pleasant game if you?re looking for a Halloween-theme. The first thing that caught my eye was that the backgrounds in this game are from the HOPA game ?Shadows: The Price For Our Sins?. This is not a complaint ? I liked the graphics. GAMEPLAY This puzzle type is called all sorts of names, nangrams, mosaics, and many more. Here it is called Fill & Cross. (Skip the next paragraph if you know this kind of puzzle) The idea of it is we get a tiled grid of 5x5 (to begin with) tiles, all empty. Surrounding this grid are sequences of numbers. You must use logic to figure out the pattern, and whether a tile is ?on? or ?off? in. The result is a usually pretty strange interpretation of the image you are looking to create. At low levels this is a fairly simple game once you've got the hang of it. But it's not long before it becomes mind-bendingly difficult. This game?s play seems no different to any other mosaic. The question marks on the right bar are up to 6 hints, where one hint gives one tile. You are allowed up to 8 mistakes (locks on the right bar). Hint and Mistake allowance is different according to each game. You get random candies under some tiles. These you can use in the shop to buy yourself useful artifacts such as ?extra hints?, or to buy trophies. FAMOUS LAST WORDS Light weight fun, which promises to keep you busy and challenged for endless hours. October 28, 2013
