Not so fun It had potential, but I really wasn't fond of the graphics or the story line. Not worth the price - for me - for a collectors purchase. November 10, 2013
Story? What story? One would expect a game based on nursery rhymes and mother goose would have a decent story line, dialogue, and/or interesting challenges. Nope. Not a chance. This game was painful to get through. Be prepared for endless back and forth, pick this up, put this here, pick this up, with no challenge, aside from is this the right shape? Also be prepared for "puzzles" that involve rotating wheels. There are a few others in there, but mostly you're just rotating wheels, separating items into categories or switching places to, for example, put the numbers in the right place on a clock. Seriously, this is the level of challenge. At some point I realized that I had been playing for hours just waiting for it to end. What a total waste of a collector's edition, which is also a joke - aside from an additional chapter that provides zero challenge, there's a set of cursed/morphing objects, and THATS IT. Save your money. December 1, 2013
Surprisingly bad The above blip tells you most of what you need to know about this game. Here is what I can tell you after playing the demo: - the game is TOO DARK - the music is wrong for the atmosphere - this game has the most annoying ambient sounds I have ever had to suffer through - even with that feature turned all the way down, it simply persists in annoying! - the graphics are cloudy or grainy - the indicator will drive you nuts with a magnifying glass over just about everything in each scene. - the text distraction keeps bringing your eye to the top of the screen every time you click where the magnifier is. Twenty minutes was all I could take and I wouldn't consider a purchase even if it were an SE game! November 9, 2013
Just Didn't Like It This is based on 20 minutes of the demo - really glad I tried the demo FIRST, because I just don't get the majority 5-star ratings for this game. I thought it lacked any internal logic. I apparently didn't play the game in the order the developers thought I should, so I got all kinds of information that didn't make sense - and a lot of it, too. I never found even one of the allegedly beautiful FROGs - in 20 minutes of play. The ambient sound is freaky and crazy making. The storyline - - - what storyline. There doesn't seem to be one. Finally (almost) the graphics are slushy and overcrowded and there's just too much useless junk everywhere. Truly finally - no journal. Not even waiting for the SE. Yuck! November 12, 2013
What other things can be used to cut branches? Not a saw, not an axe. Deleted. November 10, 2013
