A Treasure Of A Match 3 Game! You know it's a great game when the demo ends and you were so into the game that it surprises you! There are so many things to do in this game that you can't possibly get bored. Each statue has 14 levels and when you complete the levels you are awarded a heart and when all the hearts are collected the truth will be revealed about who you really are! There is no time limit but you are awarded if you reach bronze, silver, or gold times, you can also re-play the level to try to earn a higher score. My favorite match was trying to capture the frogs by matching the colored gems they are on but they keep jumping. The money you earn can be used to buy upgrades in the shop and there are way too many available to list so I suggest you start playing, enjoy! November 5, 2013
Incredible game! I've been waiting to see if they would make another one after the third one. The fourth installment is really well done and even has a storyline with voice narration this time. The quicker you finish a level, the more coins to use in the shop you get according to bronze, silver, or gold time. some of the old powerups from 3 are there, but there are new ones as well. There are new tasks given in each level such as dropping gold down to the bottom and other things too. You have to buid a pyramid structure and it's all done in 3D graphics, The music swept me away as did the storyline and the graphics are beautifully done, especially during the cutscenes. the only gripe and it's not really a bad gripe, is the loading bar is a little slow between scenes and on startup. This one's a keeper for me. If you like this series, the fourth will not disappoint. November 1, 2013
Very good sequel I have played all of this series, and #4 was not a disappointment. Those who have played the other games will find many familiar features, plus some very interesting new ones, like multiple game tasks. All in all, this is a very well made high-end match-3 game. One warning for people like me, who are physically unable to play fast: Although there is a relaxed mode, where you never lose a level because of slow play, your experience points and the money for buying power-ups is dependent on making a prescribed time per level. Times are gold, silver, or bronze, and there are corresponding point and coin ranges. If you miss out on bronze time, you get no points and no coins. It is possible to play the game with few power-ups, but it isn't really any fun, so the game definitely pushes you to play fast, which can be frustrating if you're not able to improve in that area. The times are somewhat generous, and in some modes skill will definitely help you to a good time, Still, if you cannot (or choose not to) play relatively fast, you should approach this game with some caution. Fantastic game, if a bit on the crashy side Treasures of Montezuma 4 is a beautifully-rendered match 3 game. The storyline is enjoyable, if a tad predictable. The music is appropriate and doesn't get irritating like it does in some games. It's challenging without being frustrating, and is one of the finest match 3 games to come out of BFG is a long time. There are only two problems with it: 1) The Gold time on many levels is far too short. 2) It's crashed three times already. BFG, please have a peek and see what you and the developer can do to squash the bugs. November 1, 2013
Awesome game! I waited for her for many years and she's back. A new, beautiful, interesting. Tried to play in different modes and it met expectations. I recommend to all lovers and novices. Best! November 1, 2013
Wicked Kewl My thoughts were first skeptic, I didn't think they could top the other Treasures of Montezuma, Wow I can;t stop playing it, I have to say this is truly a keeper, now I have all 4 collection... A must have Game!!! January 11, 2014
A LOT of Match 3 for the playing! I am a fan of the Montezuma games. I have the other 3. The Montezuma Team continues to get better with each game. The 4th by far is the best. You have hours of Match 3 game play available. I think the Big Bang game outshines Bejeweled! The Story line is okay but not the crux of the game. I enjoy games that have replay value. This one does. If you are a hard core M3 player then you will enjoy this one. I also LOVE the fact that it was released as a regular game and not a CE. Enjoy! December 3, 2013
A good game to while away the hours I enjoyed playing the trial of this game, for me it's an improvement on No 3 as the timer is no longer an issue. It's still there but only to gain a gold, silver or bronze rating for the level and if you're slow like me then actually getting the level completed is more important anyway. There are the same power-ups to be bought in the store. I have a small problem there as I like particular types of power-ups and cannot buy them when I want to, rather the game wants me to buy them in a certain order. There are some new parts to the some of the levels, drop the gold, catch the frogs which make for a more interesting game. I could choose to play in Casual or Expert mode which I haven't come across before in M3 games. The thing I absolutely hated is when the screen did its circle around thing as I suffer from motion sickness so I had to skip that bit as fast as I could whenever it came up - not a good idea developers as there's a lot of us out there. I also had trouble finding the Achievements as they were not under the Options, High Scores etc. screen. Don't know about the sound as I never play with sound on. However I enjoyed the game playing itself so plan to purchase it. November 1, 2013
Loved 3, disappointed in 4 I'm a big fan of Treasures 3, so was very excited about the 4th in this series. Downloaded the trial and played only about 30 minutes of it. I found the graphics poor, and sound effects very disappointing. There were some very promising new elements in the game, but my eyes couldn't take anymore of it. November 1, 2013
The treasures of Montezuma 4 With a massive 400mb download I would have expected better graphics. Disappointing the tiles are same old same as the other games, something more colourful or graphic should have been used. Not worth using the MB for the massive download. November 2, 2013
