Let's Go Camping! I liked the fact that you can choose timed or untimed modes on this TM game. The goal is to build tents, factories for supplies, and buildings such as coconut bars and greenhouses, Some tasks may require you to build tents and then upgrade them and build a garden next to it. You will need to have factories working on the supplies needed to build the material and greenhouses to grow seeds for the garden. This game does however become a bit mundane at times because there isn't enough variety. November 29, 2013
My Kind Of CE ! Tons Of Fun In The Great Outdoors ! Hot Dog now this is what I'm talking about, finally a ce that isn't a HOPA ! I was able to do the beta test for this one and loved it although at the time I had no clue it was going to be a ce. The game is awesome if you loved the first one and I did then your gonna love this one. There are some definite improvements from the first one. The graphics on this one are awesome so detailed, and colorful just a colorful feast for the eyes. The game play is similar to that of Royal Envoy you start out building tents and work your way up to bigger and better things. There are also other buildings you construct as well like a refreshment bar, a materials factory, greenhouse etc. This game has two modes of play timed and relaxed for those that don't like the clock. Although if you play the timed mode and don't make the gold the first time around you can always go back and replay the day. The ce offers a bonus level and a sg which may help in the higher levels and a art gallery. There was no way I was going to pass this little gem up I had a blast with the first one and the beta version and I've been waiting for this one to show up and I was beginning to wonder if it ever would. I'm thrilled to see another campgrounds and this one is a ce to boot now that's my kind of ce and I really wish we would get more ce's like this. This genre is my all time favorite and these games are so few and far between. The game flows like water no sticky cursor, no lagging between scenes. The timer isn't like the ones we normally see this one is set up like a calender giving you so many days to complete your task and I've already found it to be a great challenge early on in the game so I can only imagine what it's gonna be like the further along I play. Your goals are listed in the top right corner, the timer or calender is in the top left corner. The workers are a hoot to watch run around I get a kick out of watching those guys. Also in this one there are treasure chest you dig up and you get things to help you out like money or extra supplies. Your able to plant gardens and other outdoor pretties. This game offers lots of challenging fun with gorgeous graphics and plenty of interesting characters to meet along the way and I'm pretty sure some are gonna need your help with something. All in all this game totally rocks it's even better than the first one and the first one was awesome. I'm really enjoying this one and I'm looking forward to playing through the whole thing and I do think it's gonna be a nice lengthy game and as for me it's very worthy of being a ce and I really wish we would have more like this. Give the demo a try it's so worth it ! Thank you dev's for a awesome and rocking game and please keep them coming. Thank you Big Fish for making my turkey day even more awesome ! Happy Thanksgiving and have fun everybody ! November 28, 2013
Great CE sequel to the 1st Campgrounds I've only played 10 levels but that is enough for me to know that I love this game and a CE TM/Strategy, which is a surprise. Much more interesting and fun than the 1st with trophies. UNTIMED/TIMED which is great. Graphics are very jungly (not a word) and the storyline is interesting as you help Addie track down an artifact. Still a building game but IMHO with a lot more pizzaz. Love it and will be buying. If you liked the 1st Campgrounds you'll like this one but try it for yourself and I hope you enjoy it. I have no doubt that it will become more challenging as I progress, so I'm off to do just that. :) November 28, 2013
Like the first but with improvements I enjoyed the first campgrounds and so far am finding this one even better. Thankfully you can collect coins just by mouseing over so the endless repetitive clicking that spoilt the first one for me is no more. You can play in an untimed version but if you play timed and don't get gold you can achieve at silver or bronze levels too. Which is good since while I have only got to level 20 it is clear that some levels are pretty tough. December 1, 2013
As good as the first! It was a lovely surprise to see another Campgrounds game. The colours are stunning. The action and storyline are clear and fun to watch. The option to complete the game in easy mode was great. Some other games have easy modes that aren't easy. Easy let me linger and enjoy the visuals. The graphics are crisp and strong, particularly the elephant. Music was not annoying, although I have heard better. The repeat loop was a bit short for me, although it would make sense in a challenge mode. November 30, 2013
A Building Game With Options I forgot to do the star thing, so I came back to give this 5 stars, if I could give it 4.5 I would, since it is not as good, in my opinion as games in the vein of Westward that allow a lot of player decision making, but it is better than most TM (Time management) building games. Lovely graphics, ordinary but not annoying music (at least for me, my family says turn it down), not over challenging, but I do have to redo some levels to figure out the order of play, ordinary storyline. Great Game I like the campground ones very much this based on demo is going to be good off to buy it. Keep them coming bf we need way more of them. this one u dont see the timer go down like most but finish in the day time next to it. back to thinking and figuring out what you are going to need to finish in time and get the gold. it also has a relaxed mode for others who don't care about the gold time. Extremely challenging For those time management fans who can't give up until you achieve gold on every level, this is a great game. It took me 4 days but I finally achieved it. This is a great game and excellent graphics. I loved playing it and it is very addicting. Happy gaming!!! December 1, 2013
Fun Sequel This review is based on the completed game. I had been thinking about loading up the first installment to replay, when what do I find the day after my Thanksgiving coma, the sequel. Yay! The storyline is different, of course, but the game play is basically the same. there are two modes of play, timed and untimed. In addition to the 40 levels, there are 18 challenge levels, and 14 trophies to achieve. I played both timed and untimed and found quite a few timed levels challenging enough to have to restart several times to finish with gold. The graphics are really crisp and vibrant and the background music is not overbearing. It's your typical builder game that involves strategy to complete your goals and the timer is counted up in calendar days rather than a clock winding down. If you like this genre, you'll definitely like this sequel. December 14, 2013
