One of my least favorites I didn't care for this game much because it was so far fetched which made it unbelievable. The graphics etc were good but even though it had a map I didn't feel like it helped a lot.It seems that the games coming out lately have a poor story and are either so far past reality or they are filled with a lot of horror. The puzzles were good but seemed kind of easy.I don't feel it was worth the CE price and wish I had waited for the standard edition. This is just my opinion but after I played the demo I thought it would get better and it didn't. GOOD GAME FOR BEGINNERS, BUT TOO EASY FOR OTHERS BASED ON COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS CHAPTER ON HARDEST MODE This game isn't as good as some people say, nor is it as bad as others say (in my opinion.) I enjoyed playing the game, but the game IS very easy and a bit SHORT. The story is rather interesting and it moves quickly, perhaps too quickly. The graphics are rather blurry to my eye, but the voice overs are well done. It's NOT worth the money for a CE in my opinion. Pros: Interesting story Moves quickly Music adds drama You get to visit several different dream worlds, all interesting Achievements are easily attained No demonic symbols or pentagrams (which I despise) NEUTRAL FOR ME: You have TWO COLLECTIBLES, roses in the main story and sailboats in the bonus chapter. CONS: VERY easy Short game Graphics need to be crisper Bottom line: Great game for a beginner. January 5, 2014
The Ending Left a Lot Wanting The game starts out like gang busters but the end is rather sudden and quite disappointing. Technically, the mapping system was very confusing to me, but otherwise the game was good, with challenging puzzles/ Story-wise it ended up being very strange. We spent half the game rescuing 5 kittens and then left them to drown when we blew up the underwater hotel ?? Not to mention locking our faithful bot out of the escpae capsule.... But given the final scene, he at least survived. I am still bummed about the kittens though. January 2, 2014
Only for beginners Too many cutscenes in this game. They had a good idea but didn't execute it very well. Perhaps okay for new gamers but not for anyone above that level. December 28, 2013
not worth a collector's edition The bonus chapter is very short and silly and so it is not worth the money for the collector's edition. As a a standalone game it's good. January 18, 2014
Thought it would be better given the reviews and preview After reading the reviews and completing my free hour I purchased this game and played on expert/difficult. Although it had some different games throughout the game, the story line and the whole thing was rather predictable and mundane. Wish it had some kind of book, rather than just the reels and felt it skipped in the story a few places.Additionally, the end came quickly without really explaining a few things etc. Won't purchase the new one as can see it will have a sequel. Just okay. January 1, 2014
ideal for beginners i guess well not a game i would buy!, so disjointed in its story line its difficult to get into it. leaving the game instructions to those who went before me, i felt generous giving it a 3. colourful though, beginners would like it i think December 28, 2013
fun game Creepy, haunting music, nice graphics, cute kittens, I liked it, did not love it, but it is better than what came around lately...Is it so hard to make a good creepy scary game? Darn it ! Keep trying you guys.... January 15, 2014
Dream section was a little disapointing I still think it was a pretty good game. I did enjoy it. HO's were fair. You collect Roses. I am not sure but I thought there was another collectable at the beginning then it switched over to roses? Robot was cute and finding Kittens was fun. I like the tapes to find and view, but found them a little short. Wanted slightly more there. Just preference. I think a lot of people will like them very short. This game has a jump map which I had to use to be able to find out where to go next a time or two and three and four. Once I got the machine to work and did the dream tickets. Those were also very short and was expecting a little more. All in all a pretty good game. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. January 10, 2014
Didn't grab me! Feel a bit lukewarm about this game. Storyline looked good, but failed to entice me to play on past the demo I'm afraid. A lot of straightforward HOs which I don't like, prefer when they spaced out more throughout a game and less plentiful. Puzzles very standard and easy. January 7, 2014
