So boring to WATCH a game A very good plot is totally ruined by unnumerous cutscenes followed by film-clips etc. I like to play, seak and solve - spiced with a cut-scene here and there .... not the other way around. It's a game, where you either end up watching it or skipping scene after scene. After 10 cutscenes/films I just skipped and skipped. I know I might miss some important parts of the story, and as there is no journal there is no way to catch up. THE STORY You are an orphan who after 25 years get the chance to find your real Mother. You go to a strange "Hotel" where dreams and reality are mixed up - meaning; You find Cards that allows you to enter certain dreams. The point should be to recall lost memories with the help of dreams. Unfortunately the dream-stuff is still on an experimental stage, so you keep finding reports on how wrong things have gone. Fx that animals are responding badly, and over your head in a huge aquarium a shark is almost breaking the glas. The scene is set to a lot of possibilities, but the demo gives no clue about what the dreams you visit or the things that happens, has to do with your main task : Finding your mother ! IN GENERAL: - Basically the game is nicely drawn, the colours are crisp and the HOS are OK with some interaction, - The minigames are almost easier than an ERS-game - There are collectibels (10 roses) - The map is exellent. Transports and tells where you have available tasks - Integrated strategy-guide. I didn't use it, but I suppose it works just fine - The hints shows direction without telling you what to do. I like that I really don't know what to say about this game. It could be a really good one, but my game-experience was totally ruined by the disturbance of cutscenes/filmclips all the time. It never really flowed as I was constantly interrupted by something I had to watch/skip. My 2-star rating is for the over-all game experience I might regret it later, but I'll pass on this game for the time being. You should try it out - you might prove me vrong :) December 28, 2013
another short lived game Not sure whats going on but I have now played my 3rd extremely short game in a row. I am slow at these games and sometimes play them for 15 hours over all. I finished this one in about 3. Something is going on with the shortening of the play times. Not sure I will even continue membership. Very disappointed again! January 8, 2014
MORE A CLUMSY NIGHTMARE THAN A DREAM I know taste is subjective, but I don't get the enthusiasm for this game. Wait for a CE, DD or freebie spend for this one. It's okay, but certainly NOT worth a CE price. Way, way too many cutscenes and dialogue. I rarely listen to the music so I can't speak to that. Easy enough to follow, just not enough challenge for anyone beyond beginner. Had it not been for all the interruptions I might have gone up one more star; the constant interruptions made it drag for me and wanted to push it along, and to be fair, I nearly never give a 5 star rating. Forewarned is forearmed. Just know if you invest in the CE, it is not in the league of some of the other, more advanced HOG producers. December 28, 2013
to expensive for what it was!!!! If I knew then from what I know now I wouldn't have spent the money. December 30, 2013
AWFUL GAME I only played about 20 minutes of the demo and was too frustrated to continue. You just can't play this game for all the cut scenes. It could have been a good game, but was interrupted way too many times to be able to enjoy it. Save your money! January 1, 2014
Not worth the money the game goes back and forth to much. Storyline is to far fetched January 5, 2014
Slow Moving and Boring Based on the demo. The game had a good soundtrack and excellent voiceovers, in addition to an interactive map, but that's about all it had going for it. The graphics were lackluster, which added to the boredom in this slow moving game. The hidden object scenes were interactive but too simplistic. The mini-puzzles were pretty lame. There was nothing to them. Like the whole game, there just wasn't anything of substance there. There is nothing in the game to justify a CE price. I'll try the SE when it comes out, but this game practically put me to sleep. There is just nothing there. It's a shame because the storyline had a lot of potential: a young woman searching for the mother who abandoned her as an infant. December 28, 2013
Too Many Cut Scenes I only played the first 14 minutes of the trial but that was enough to know that this game was not for me. I don't mind cut scenes when they add to the overall story. There were about 5 cut scenes in the first 14 minutes. This game is awful don't waste your money. December 28, 2013
Not a dream but a nightmare This has got to be one of the dumbest story lines ever. Also, it's so disconnected. And, too many cut scenes. Yuck. January 4, 2014
not for me Terrible. Deleted after 3 minutes of play. Quality overall seems poor. December 28, 2013
