Keep That Java Flowin' I haven't played the first Jo's Dream, but have reconsidered because I loved this game! This is your typical TM/DD game where customers arrive at your coffee shop in a good mood. You click on the customer to receive their order, then click on the items such as espresso, tea, cupcakes etc. and then again on the customer to serve the items. When they leave you need to clean the mess before the next customer arrives, in my opinion their should have been a feature that also allows you to take their payment. All's good until several customers arrive at the same time and start placing elaborate items such as lemon ice cream with chocolate or strawberry syrup! the quicker (and correct) you serve the customers, the more satisfied they are which leads to bigger tips. Of course you will use those earnings to buy upgraded espresso machines, more seating, or the ability to serve quicker. I can't think of any major complaints with this game and think it's well worth a credit, enjoy! December 6, 2013
Own your own Starbucks! This game is a time management gem. You aren't really limited by time -- I am not good at hurrying! -- but you do have to serve your customers by closing time. But there is plenty of time to accomplish each scenario, and eventually you get to hire baristas and waiters to help you. You goal is twofold -- perform the tasks that appear to gain points to level up, and earn enough money to purchase some of the items needed to perform the tasks. You have 10 levels to grow your shop into, and you can take as much time as you need to reach each level. Some of your tasks involve improving the outside of your building with signage, balconies, and trim. Some involve expanding your menu by buying the machines that allow you to make expresso, American, latte, cappuccino, chocolate, or tea. You can add syrup or toppings or milk or ice to make even more drink combinations like a chocolate expresso or a carmel latte. Your barista always knows the menu by heart, so I let her make the complicated drinks! You can expand the inside of the caf by cleaning up and adding tables. You can improve the inside dcor as well with plants, lighting, wall hangings and a fish tank. All of your improvements should apply to tasks that give you the experience points to reach the next level. You can add up to 2 baristas and 2 waiters as you reach higher levels and they improve as they gain experience. You can add a courier for delivery orders and musicians. Eventually I got to the point where my people serviced the customers and I kept the refills going and handled the deliveries. This is a fun game that I played for hours over several nights, and can be replayed. Certainly worth a coupon! December 6, 2013
Great Game, Even Better Than The First I was a little hesitant to buy it immediately once I read the reviews that gave the game 4 stars or less, but after playing the demo for an hour, I had to buy it! The characters, recipes, and most of the upgrades are the same as the first game. I love the new order system. Instead of dragging an item to a customer, you click an item to put it on a "tray", much like the "Delicious" games, and then click on the customer to deliver all the items at once (you can also do one at a time, but I believe you get a better tip for delivering all at once). Instead of gaining more stars, you have to level up by achieving goals. As someone else mentioned, there is no physical trash can to throw away unwanted items, but you can drag an unwanted item off of your "tray" and the trash can will appear for you to drop the item in. The pace of the game is MUCH faster and challenging than the first one (this one really keeps you hustling!) and the staff are much more efficient (barista actually stays at the bar and only serves customers there). If you liked the first game, then you will absolutely love this one!! I couldn't even stop playing! December 7, 2013
Jo is back and better than ever! In this episode, we must help Jo win the Coffee Festival. I loved it. Graphics were awesome, music was good and the storyline was well developed. If you are a fan of the 1st episode or just a TM fan in general, you will love this game. We've had so many great TM games this month! I love to see my favorites come thru again in sequels. I highly recommend this one. Getting my Cup 'O Joe right now, and will continue playing! December 6, 2013
Different from the first Surprised to see Jo's Dream Organic Coffee 2. It's much fast pace then the first one. If you have the first game, you need to drag the coffee to the syrup but in Coffee 2 all you need to do is click. It did take me some time to get used to it. One thing, I didn't noticed a trash can but there is one. The graphics is much better then the first and I enjoyed the music. It's worth it . December 8, 2013
Love love love... bring on the java and desserts :) Loved the first installment and love this one as well... in fact, it's THE game I've been playing lately and I'm on my second round to try and beat my last transition to full shop & win the "contest". As for those giving it one star.... there IS a trash can and it is absolutely very possible to evolve in the game.... I've succeeded, had fun, all satisfied customers and wish there were MORE games like this one. It is a delight to play. Yay~ bring on #3 #just kidding... I'll give you a little more time for the third installation, lol#. Give it a try... hope you have as much enjoyment as I have had playing this wonderful TM with great replay value. :) December 16, 2013
jo's dream organic coffe 2 I love it it was so much fun :} January 20, 2014
A Time Management game I just couldn't stop playing! I enjoyed the first one, but I loved the second one. I like how when the day ends you can just open the doors right up again if you still need more money. It also makes you think but it's not enough to stress you out. I would recommend this game. Jo's Dream Organic Coffee 2 I must say this one is a lot faster paced then the first one. I bought the first one and enjoyed it but thought it was a little to slow in the way they made things. But this second one is fast paced and easier to upgrade items. I have only played the 60 min. but I will definitely buy this one. I December 6, 2013
Worth the price This game takes everything that really didn't work in Joe's Dream Organic Coffee (1) and fixed it to make a truly smooth and polished sequel. A lot of fun! January 1, 2014
