Monument Builder: Empire State Building
You Can never Go Wrong With Monument Builders!
Another fantastic, fun, and educational T/M game. The graphics are colorful and crisp with something new to do in every level. I can honestly say that my favorite part is at the beginning of each level when you get to learn something new about the Empire State Building. You will need to clear blocked roads, and sometimes repair the roads so that the trucks can travel to and from production sites. You must get rid of pesky sleeping actors by shooing them away several times, and send food carts to feed starving actors. There are several different types of material needed as well as several different buildings in this game, and some awesome old trucks to deliver the goods. You will earn 1-3 stars depending on the time it takes you to complete a level, enjoy!

Where have all the horses gone?
This game is exactly like the others in the series, and like the last one in terms of updated graphics.
There is not really a lot more to say, the soundbytes are the same, the music is the same, and the way the information is relayed is the same. This though instead of about the Eiffel tower, or the titanic is about another iconic building that of the Empire State Building.
The title refers to the fact that the one overriding difference between this and the other games is that instead of horses we now have Henry Ford vehicles, though of course the effect is the same, though I think they move marginally faster that the 1hp of the horses, I do mean marginally though :)
I can't really say any more about the game, if you have played the others then you know exactly what to expect, if you haven't but want to learn a bit more about the construction of this iconic building, then I would recommend this game as not only do you get an history/geography lesson but you get a semi-decent game booted in for free.
It may not be a 'credit' purchaser game, but if you have a free credit or you buy it in one of the numerous sales that BF have, then I would definitely buy it if you have previously bought into the genre, or you want to learn about the Empire State Building. It is definitely on my list for the next time there is a sale.

Fun, Cute Time Management Game
Based on the Demo
This is a cute time management game based on the
building of the Empire State in NYC. The characters
are fun, the graphics are bright and beautiful, the music
is inspirational, like something from a gladiator movie.
The levels get faster, a little harder, and a lot more
complicated as the game progresses.
If you like Match 3s this one promises to be hours
and hours of fun.

I use this type of game as a cool down after work. The repetitious nature of the series does not bother me but the games seem to be getting more and more juvenile in their graphics. That does bother me. Are all the bouncy arrows, moving buildings and "look here, stupid" hints really necessary? I felt trapped in Barney's Playhouse or Blue's Clues. Barely escaped without a headache. Won't be purchasing. Not everybody purchasing here is a thirteen year old girl.
It's not bad, for a resource / time management game. My tolerance for yet another bouncy graphics game is not there.

Cutesie t/m game but little to do with the title
I thought I'd try out a "Monument Builders" game out of curiosity as I am a fan of time-management games. However, I also enjoy games that carry some connection to their title within the game-play as opposed to simply providing a theme around which to base yet another generic t-m game.
I was disappointed that the game play didn't actually contribute towards a physical construction model of the Empire State Building. Effectively, you simply have to complete each level in order to effect a progression in the building of the title. There's no real connection between the inter-level scenes and the actual gameplay in each level.
The various facts about the building in the title are interesting but, overall, I felt disappointed that you don't see your gaming efforts actually leading to the growing build of the Empire State building. In truth, I'd like to see a game where you're delivering materials - both raw and pre-constructed - to the main construction site itself and be able to view, in-game, the fruits of your efforts and watch the ESB actually going up and up...

Enjoyable, Informative, but Not Challenging
This was my first Monument Builders game I have tried. I felt the visuals and the sound were about on par with most other time management games. I thought the story line was funny and I really liked the inclusion of all the facts regarding the Empire State Building so it was also educational, this contributed to my five star rating for the Storyline section. It was a fun play through once, but I don't feel it has any replay value for me as the challenge level was lacking. It was ridiculously easy to get 3 stars from the majority of the levels and only a handful required a second try to get all three stars. I would highly recommend this game for children, and new time management players. Experts will notice the lack of challenge.

I'll Take The Subway, thank you
First off, I'll admit I'm not a big fan of the 'Monument Builders' franchise in the first place. However, I liked the premise of this one as far as the theme goes (building the Empire State Building). However, I found it just as disappointing as the other MB games. With this one, you are dealing with the same scenery in level after level. The graphics are highly outdated. Even the 'actors' vehicles look like something from an 80s video game. I gave the trial a chance, but it was a no-go for me. Perhaps it may be different for you - but I recommend trying the trial first, not flat out buying it.

Sorry but graphics are outdated and it's just not fun. Directions are poor but I think overall it just the visual sucks.
