Mystery Tales: The Lost Hope
Your Brother-In-Law Has Gone Mad!
Good news, you have been invited to a resurrection! Bad news, it's your sister! Your brother-in-law is a self taught alchemist who wants to bring his beautiful wife back to life, and wreak havoc on the people who ran him out of his childhood town after a horrible accident claimed her life. The collectors edition has hidden coins and zoo animals, and you can upgrade the panel and bring your animals to life. The hidden object scenes are slightly interactive list finds as well as putting inventory items back into their logical positions in the scene. You have the option to switch to a jigsaw puzzle instead of the hidden object scene. There are lots of mini games such as pulling levers on the right and left side of the bridge until all boards are flat and showing a picture, You will keep a dossier of the different characters you come across and when Emmett accidentally leaves behind his alchemist crucible, you will use it to transform and change certain items as you try to stop Emmett from doing the unthinkable! Enjoy!

A GREAT GAME!
I bought this game after playing just 5 minutes. Good puzzles. HOS are the same but some are all together different than just finding them. Great hint button that tells you where to go next. A most enjoyable game.

The Lost Hope takes you to the end of your rope....
Wow! This marathon HOPA was a total surprise. It took several hours to complete all the tasks before finally freeing Emmett from the evil green spirit he's possessed with. I am usually not a fan of teleportation maps, but this game almost requires one. There are tons of puzzles, ho's, inventory and travel. Lots of characters to interact with too. My only challenge with the game was that my cursor was a bit sluggish, but maybe I was just impatient. Overall this is a great adventure for the price.

One of the best SE ever!
There are plenty of reviews about the story line, game play, etc., so all I'm going to say is that this was BY FAR the longest standard edition game I've ever played. I usually finish the most difficult games in less than 2 hours and I played this one over a series of days. Definitely value for your money! The game is interesting and well done so the game doesn't seem too long. A super buy in my book. Happy gaming!

Loved this game
The first thing I noticed was the lovely scenes we were going to be involved in. So colourful and intricate.
The map moves you around so you don't get lost. There was many places to visit, but all easy to travel to.
The HOGs were good and very different as, not only did you have to find objects, but later on you would have to replace them, not where you found them, but where they belonged.
The characters were nice. 'our misunderstood Hero' and his little sister who was a very dear little character.
I found this game different from so many mainly I think because of the surroundings.
The story line was easy to follow, but held my attention.
All in all I found it exceptionally good

Great snow day game!
I played this on a snow and was really impressed. It's fun, graphics are good, and I like the different levels of challenge that are true to nature. A lot of the games say 'hardcore' level but are still easy. I like to play the expert level and enjoy the challenge. Great game Bigfish! I definitely recommend this game.

I have played this game without even a break. It is fun and almost as long as a CE.

that this was BY FAR one of the best SE games I've ever played. The game is interesting and well done so the game doesn't seem too long. A super buy in my book. I really enjoy being able to do a puzzle instead of HOG and they are good puzzles, I like that option instead of match 3. Great game for the money, really enjoyed the long play.

Lots to do in this adventure. Good balance of HOS and puzzles, but it is mainly an adventure game, so don't expect a ton of HOS or puzzles. Voice overs are very, very good. HOS are list-based and mildly crowded, but very detailed. Puzzles can be substituted for the HOS (like picture puzzles). Mini-game puzzles are widely varied and relatively easy to figure out. You can customize the difficulty or choose one of the 3 preset difficulty levels. Well-developed story. Gameplay is straightforward and the developers put a lot of thought into how the game should progress. Graphics look hand-drawn. Nice game.
