League of Mermaids: Pearl Saga
Stop The Kraken From Rising!
Excellent sequel of League of Mermaids! If you haven't ever played any "jar of marbles" type of match 3, you are in for a huge treat! On the other hand, if you are a fan of this series, you too are in for a treat because they have added all kinds of obstacles to make this a more challenging game! You can play this game in timed mode or zen mode with the goal of getting 3 stars for each level by reaching the three goals shown on the bottom right of the screen. Some marbles are made of stone and the only way they can be destroyed is with a bonus of some type. There are also marbles covered with seaweed which block the openings until you make a match of the same color above them. Some marbles contain bombs or lightning, when you make a match with those marbles the bonus is released and you can use the bonus marble on your next move to destroy several marbles at once. As you make matches, the meter bar fills up and once full it releases energy that destroys a bunch of leftover marbles. Bravo, I love it, enjoy!

What a Hoot!
Fans of Match 3 or Marble Popper games will absolutely love this game. The setting is underwater and 'Balls' are dropped from above into variously shaped vessels. You have to match 3 or more to make them disappear. The realistic 'bottom-floating' nature of the balls is life-like! #as though they are weighted, but floating if you see what I mean#.
If you can make lots of good matches, you fill the 'Treasure Bar' which in effect is a giant power-up, and makes a lot of balls disappear at once. Other helpful power ups become available as you progress through the game.
Graphics are excellent and colourful. Sound effects are 'metallic' and are a highlight of the game. There is ambient music which is decent enough for the game, but can be turned off.
Options for custom cursor, full screen, and even a 'colourblind' option for folk with colour vision problems.
There looks to be a large number of levels and hours and hours of play ahead. In the trial hour, things were starting to get quite difficult by the end of it, so challenge level looks good.
This is a game I can definitely recommend!

Deep Blue Sea
Pennmom said most of what I like, so won't repeat. Fun game, love the music, great graphics. Haven't played this type of match 3 before and I had a blast. So surprised when demo was over.
Off to buy/use free code.

Buy or Free to play ?
I love this game and have been playing it via the Free to play version, so when it came up for sale I did so immediately as I already have Atlantis, Pearls of the Deep, I can't seem to get enough of this type of game play. I'm a bit confused tho as the extra levels from the ftp version aren't included on the own outright version and the extra levels on the ftp version are now locked even tho I have played them ! So now I have 2 versions of this game installed on my computer in the hope that there will be even more levels to play at some point. Its makes me regret buying the own outright version as I still have to have the ftp version to have access to the other levels not included in my new purchase ! It recommend the game but not the choice of ftp or own outright

Fun and challenging
Great marble popper game, more fun and interesting than most I've played. I like how many levels there are, allows for many hours of play time without getting bored.

Thought it was a Match 3 game, and this is not the usual Match 3. Was surprised at how addictive this game is. Takes a bit of strategy and you can replay levels if you want to up your score. A few levels I played many, many times, trying to get the three hearts match.

New old Game, but still a good one
I was so happy to see a new "pearls" game, then came disappointment. I thought it looked familiar, but the name was slightly different so I just downloaded the trial. Started playing it and knew right away that I already had the game. Bought it in July of 2013. I sure wish it would have been a new game. Haven't been able to use any of my credits for months. Looks like I'm still stuck with all my old ones.

I liked it
Finally a game! Not a mystery to solve or whatever, but a game. Wish Bigfish would bring back more games. This one held my interest and yet wasn't shoving time limits down my throat :-) So, I'm a happy guppy in a Bigfish pond!

Great Challenge - TOO MUCH DIALOG!!
Although I truly enjoy the challenge of this game, the inane skit dialogue - particularly the need to go through it all every single time you try to get a better score by repeating a round - makes this game entirely too frustrating for me. I will not purchase another game from this developer unless I am assured that either the repetitive and disruptive story line does not exist, or that there is some way to turn it off if you don't want it. It's not enough to be able to skip only the initial introduction to each level. There should be a way to skip the entire dialog, at least after the first attempt at a round.
