Love TM games, but not this one I could only manage playing a few levels. It was just too slow and boring for my taste. I much prefer ROR, MKFP, RE, Northern Tale, Campgrounds, Gardens Inc., Kingdom Chronicles etc. The main thing that kept me from going any further in this game was that even though I turned the "music" OFF, it STILL played in the background very very lightly. Enough to irritate me. If I want the music OFF, I mean OFF. Grrrrr. I realize many like the music in this game, but not for me. Many times I prefer only sounds and not music, and have never had any trouble muting it before, but this one refuses to let me play the game without it, even though the slider is ALL the way to the left as far as it will go. I wasn't all that excited about the game play in this one anyway, so, to each their own. Try it, you might like it. It just wasn't for me. April 27, 2014
Woefully lacking! I love TM games, and have found some good ones at Big Fish (Roads of Rome, Island Tribe, Mystic Emporium, Northern Tales 2 & 3, etc.).....but, sorry to say, this game is NOT one of the good ones. The tutorial is almost non-existent (which is very annoying), game play is excruciatingly slow, and there is nothing unusual, exciting, or fun about this game. This review is based on playing the entire one-hour tutorial. I wouldn't recommend wasting $$ or game points on this one.....not even if there's a sale! April 30, 2014
yuk! I played about 8 minutes before I realized as I was collecting food, mana, whatever, if I didn't work FAST enough my resources were being taken from me!!!!!!! I didn't see anywhere I could change to a relaxed mode. I don't think this game has any level except work as fast as you can !!!!!!!!! Not for me! April 23, 2014
Clunky confusing play I am really surprised at the high ratings this game is getting. I love TM games but this one is confusing and the play itself is awkward to downright bad. No instructions yet after 11 levels I am still trying to figure out new game play elements such as the chase. The chase is really slow and awful and boring and annoying. The bonuses are not fun to use - can barely see the difference with them or without them. Graphics are too small and it took me several levels to figure out which graphic was wood and which was stone because they are too similar. A big thumbs down on this one. May 1, 2014
The BORING Beardless Wizard I appreciated all of the comments, but I do have to say I thought this game was really boring. Lasted only 28 minutes of the free hour. Basically the game tells you what to do next and all you do is click. Got stuck on the third(?) level with giving the man the honeycombs--until I rebuilt all the trees and found another one. This game might be your cup of tea. I say... boring! Cheers, everyone May 17, 2014
Dull and unchallenging I lasted 8 minutes too. Boring no sense of urgency to do the tasks and the instructions didn't point out the important stuff like mana. April 24, 2014
boring keep it It was an ok game till you started out in the 3 level then it started to slow down. all you do is run around like a chicken with your head cu off which you do in real life. keep it big fish and get your computer, employees and games up to dated April 23, 2014
I don't know how this game currently has five stars ... I was excited to finally see another resource TM game, as I generally really like them. The photos didn't look great, but I decided to try it because of the high rating. I stopped after the first level. Then a little later though, "I couldn't have disliked it that much" and tried again. Very quickly I was reminded that it was indeed that terrible. Don't waste your time. April 25, 2014
