OK Everything about this game is OK. The artwork, the storyline, the HOS, the mini-games are all OK, just like hundreds of other games out there. The story starts out with your dream about your missing brother, progresses on to your search which leads you to enter into a series of adventures inside books. The potential is there. If only the execution followed the premise, we could all be excited. I wish there had been more to this game, but just having the basics will not make a good CE any more. It might be acceptable for an SE. For a slightly old-fashioned HO game that relies heavily on it's map, basic HOS's with little interaction, fairly repititious mini-games, and static characters, this game is OK. And if you are looking for an OK game, you found it - just try before you buy. May 10, 2014
Lost Souls Timeless Fables This game really did not appeal to me. There was not much of a storyline to actually know what happened. Just your brother is missing and the sister keeps having these recurring dreams since. See feels she knows where to start. is all I could get from the demo. (still alittle confused however) .....5 Books to finish. Each a different story. .....Hint Systems is slow to react. .....Graphics I guess are ok. Could have been better. .....Map is another story...It shows different places you will need to visit. Each place (such as Professors house) will have a number of things to do to complete that place, You will need to travel to the various places to find items to use in another area of the map. So on and so on. This goes on until you have finished that first book and go to the next. Sorry if this sounds confusing but I am still trying to figure out from the beginning the story. Perhaps is is just the type of morning I am having and could be just me. All I can say is try the demo and see for yourself. Not everyone has the same taste in games. But I can honestly say it is not mine. I would even have to think before buying it with a freebie. May 8, 2014
no challenge This was really bad. No exploring - having to use a map to get wherever you go next was just too much. The games were really easy which I liked, and different which I also liked, but the game in itself was definitely not up to the standards of games today. I really liked the concept but I quit after around half hour. May 13, 2014
zzzzzzzzzz oh my .......had a few aspects that were interesting but then somehow the developers left the room..could have been a killer game but what happened during coffee breaks..sorry based on demo, that i did'n finish.try as i say you might see something in it i didn't .we are so spoiled with talking characters too i guess .lol.. Liked the graphics, big & detailed, but characters & story CHEESY! How could anyone rate this 5 stars? The puzzles were easy but generally pretty good and I was pleased that they made the graphics and text large and clear, but the game was truly dumb and boring. The worst thing was that when you arrive on a new scene, you talk to some character who doesn't look realistic in the first place, and then the character just stands there while you pick up items. Why would a police chief let me take things off his desk or look in his files? I went through the motions to finish the game but did not get "into" it or enjoy it. November 16, 2014
