All For Love! Northern King Ingolf has set sail to 4 different continents in search of the worlds largest diamond, the Stone of Destiny, so that he can wed the love of his life. This is an epic Viking saga and by far the best of the series. The tasks are shown at the bottom of the screen such as lighting 10 fire pits which will allow more of the area to be seen. In order to complete the tasks at hand you have to strategically plan which buildings to build to achieve those goals. Farms produce food, but require silver to build and maintain. Huts produce silver but need food to maintain for example. There are also buildings such as sawmills which will produce wood. You will need to fix roads, and bridges in order to progress, chop trees for wood, pick berries and collect various resources. The goal is to complete the levels tasks within a certain amount of time, as time diminishes, you loose stars, 3 stars remaining is the goal. To achieve the tasks in the allotted time frame you will need to take advantage of the bonus bar at the bottom of the screen that when filled can be used to freeze time, add another Viking, make Vikings work faster, make Vikings build faster and demolish faster. There are over 40 levels of pure Viking Time Management fun, enjoy! May 28, 2014
Realore did it again! Nice surprise today, yay! Viking Saga and Northern Tales, my two favs. I am not sure if you realized, but if you hit the X2 and then collect the rent, you get double rent. There is a disable voice button, (like mentioned in the other thread, if Royal Envoy 3 did that I would have bought that game too). The narrator I am learning to tune out :) There is 3 modes of play. Relaxed (yay), Casual, and Hard. The one gripe I did have was when the character talked to each other, it went so fast. Ummm Realore, we aren't speed readers lol. Story: Ingolf wants to get married, but good ol' pops said not until you find the biggest diamond in the world. I think Pops doesn't want his daughter to marry Ingolf personally, because Pops thinks it's impossible to find this diamond. But off Ingolf goes in search for this diamond. And off we go in another adventure of Viking Saga. Graphics: Awesome! Clear as a bell on my monitor. Fantastic job team. Music: Just right for the game and not intrusive in the least. Game Play: Collect the usual resources, wood, food rent etc...etc... All in all I enjoy this one a lot like I did the others. Kudos to the team for a job extremely well done. And thanks BF for bringing this one. :) May 28, 2014
LOVE THE VIKINGS ? JUST BUY IT :) Keeping this review short. If you're a fan of this series just buy it. It doesn't disappoint. Beautiful new graphics, good storyline, challenging and lots of fun. If you haven't played any of this series do so and you'll love it too. As soon as I saw another Viking Saga I just bought it and didn't regret it, it's fun, fun, fun. Buy and enjoy :) May 28, 2014
The Vikings are BACK!!! I knew the minute I say that this was the "Release of the Day" that I would buy it, and I'm sure happy I did! I didn't even play the trial, just went right to buy. The game starts out very similar to the first 2 installments, but by level 10, I realized this was going to take some serious strategy to beat the clock - love TM games!. I had just conveyed to BFG 2 weeks ago about the lack of TM games, and in one week, two of the best have been released #the other being Royal Envoy. If you like TM games, you are going love this game! Try it; it won't be sorry! May 29, 2014
Super Fun T/M Game The Vikings are back with a love story this time. Lots of new ground to cover. Graphics, color bright and cheerful. You really have to plan your strategy out in this one so look and plan before you make your first click. I've had to restart several levels to get the order of building resources correct. Best of all there is a relaxed mode for those who want to play at our own pace. I highly recommend this game! May 28, 2014
Best so far Just got done playing the demo and bought it. The graphics are so clear! The game play is the same which is nice, the same three levels of difficulty. I can't quite explain but the game feels different, better. Maybe it's because of the graphics. The tasks that you do make a lot more sense instead of just clear the road because it has a hole or is blocked. You'll just have to play it to see what I mean. I highly recommend it and it's not a HOG, Yahoo! May 28, 2014
they're back this game is great same thing has all the others but the challenge is different and you find different things. The neat part where you have to think is the green vines that keep locking you out. Very cool and great game May 29, 2014
Great Sequel Our Vikings have traveled to some new lands and have new goals that can be difficult and challenging. Not as many fires to put out as the last game which, in my eyes, made it a little less tedious but they have new barriers to eliminate. I purchased it (OF COURSE :-) ) after the first 15 minutes and am glad that I did. I would suggest playing the untimed until you get the grasp of the new obstacles and strategy. I suggest adding this game to the series and am actually looking forward to another one. :-) June 3, 2014
They were already married!!!! This Viking Saga is wonderful, although if you have played the two other games, this story is absolutely incoherent. On Viking Saga: New World, Ingolf was married to Dalla, and they had a son, Valdir and a daughter, Elska. Come on developers, be coherent with the story!!! June 1, 2014
