EGYPTIAN MAHJONGG!? There are two ways to play this game, one is freeplay and the other is story mode. You get to choose the tiles from classic to Egyptian style and even choose the layout of the tiles. There is a mix button that seems unlimited in freeplay mode, and you can choose the level of difficulty from easy to hard. I played freeplay medium with Egyptian tiles and it was good entertainment with the exception of the music which I turned way down because it was annoying. Enjoy! April 21, 2013
A Nice MahJongg Game with Customization I bought this game after trying it out. There are several nice customization touches: campaign (timed) mode or untimed, traditional tiles vs Egyptian motif. The music is electronic; I wish that on "relaxed" mode, the music was relaxed, but there are several different tunes so not annoying to me. This is not HD so I took off a star for the "visual quality" but I'm spoiled. ;) Lots of different tile configurations and a tutorial and some playing tips as you go along. If you like the traditional solitaire mahjongg games, this will be a nice addition. April 21, 2013
Not a bad game I sometimes compare games from time to time(new vs. old) to see the difference and if the game is worth the money. So, I download my other Mahjong (Luxor mahjong) to compare. This is not a bad game for someone who never played mahjongg before. Tiles are easy to read and it's enjoyable but for beginners. For experts, it is boring. The graphics is cartoon and the music is electronic(but it is not Egyptian). The tiles have Egyptian symbols but also traditional (Asian). Luxor mahjong graphics is a lot more Egyptian along with the music. Even the tiles is Egyptian (3 different types). The reason why I gave this a four stars mainly because the tiles in this game is easy to read and it's a good start for beginners. Other then that, Luxor Mahjong is a far better game for exports by compare. . April 22, 2013
How fast can you move your mouse? Different fun factors and challenges, great for a beginner. The games I played were timed, so if you have played this type of game on a regular basis it's pretty easy to spot matching tiles. The "journey" cheers you on at every completed level, which was cute. This type of game is an excellent one to play after a hard day at work. Relaxing. April 29, 2013
Sounded promising, but some letdowns. Always keen to try out a new mahjong experience, but although this looked and sounded promising, alas, it had a few letdowns. The clarity of the graphics on the opening screen is outstanding, but upon loading the first board, disappointment prevailed. The tiles are quite fuzzy and not good on the eyes. I feel that in this day and age, there is no excuse for poor quality graphics. As others have pointed out there are a few redeeming features, but there are also other bad points - the music is not sympathetic to the game, and there is a dreaded button 'Release Curse' (no moves) which seems to have to be pressed too often. Once pressed, tiles are shuffled, but often giving only one more move. Not good. All in all, a bit of a disappointment for seasoned mahjong players. April 22, 2013
Fuzzy Boring Game I like Mahjongg games, and they all can get a bit boring after a time BUT this game has horrible, non=Egyptian music, boring game play, and every fourth or fifth tile , a "curse" has been put on you (no matches) and you use an anti-curse button. The tiles seem a bit fuzzy and hard to read. I REALLY wanted to like this game. Sorry, its a no buy for me.(I played 36 minutes of demo.) April 21, 2013
Lots of Bugs in Game Had to restart game frequently for it to run properly. Made gameplay difficult, which didn't run smoothly either way. June 19, 2014
STUCK well I played that game for a while then I bought it and either it was not downloaded right or I am not playing it right.. dont know But I do know that when I get a curse I can't move the mouse all the way up to click on the tiles even when I hit the hint button and it shows me a tile on the first top row I can not click it. What a led down :( June 17, 2014
Only so so... I really like mahjong...so I am being lenient on this one. I am torn between two stars and three. The game is nicely drawn and there are loads of levels...but...it is ONLY mahjong; there is no other type of play between levels. You can play timed or casual which is good...but it does get a bit boring after a while. There are two tile types to choose from and two kinds of play: adventure and solitaire, but the adventure just entails a map of dots to show your progress...not too exciting. Also, if you get stuck there is a shuffle button (undo curse) which seems to be perpetually ready. It tells you when you have no more moves, that your tiles have been cursed, but the printing of this on the screen stays up way too long, so if you are playing timed mode you are trying to look around the darn printing. Also, sometimes it only gives you one move after shuffling, so you have to go through the printing again...that is really annoying! I have still never found a better mahjong game than Leong, the Lost Amulets. April 21, 2013
Lot to be desired I like a variety of tile sets. This game has a dearth of them. An automatic deal breaker for me. April 22, 2013
