Deep Blue Sea
Suprisingly - A Little Gem
Thought I would give this one a try - what the heck its only $3.
What a good game.
Just a match-3 dropping items to the bottom but good graphics and catchy music.
Very brightly coloured sea creatures to match (love the puffer fish and the purple seahorse).
Starts off easy but gets more challenging in the later levels.
You have a shop to buy upgrades, equipment and increased powerups.
There is a map that shows your progress after each level and the story unfolds at each level (interesting storyline).
Tips: Collect as many coins as you can .
Buy the large chest as soon as you can.
Extra oxygen tanks (gives you more time) and magnet are useful.
Hours of fun for $3 - can't beat it.

If you've read the description of the game, you are a scuba diver/treasure hunter who comes upon the merpeople of Avalonia and along your merry way you find pieces of amulets that have special properties but who is lying about the background of what happened to Avalonia and who is not? Ah? The plot thickens. I would say this is a very relaxing, stress-free game in that you don't have to feed the fishes, purchase anything for aquariums or build a city - not that they're not fun. This is strictly a Match 3 game for beginners and relaxers. And the little creatures are so cute you just don't want to use the bombs and what-nots on them. Glam-ma says give this a go.

Match 3 with a slight twist
I am a bit confused by joyjoyinhouston's review...
no save? ... mmm.. once you complete a level, it's saved at that point!
Bit tricky to do some levels and strategy comes into it in planning when to have oxygen and other power-ups.
A good game and I recommend it.

Fun, but average Match 3.
Good story, excellent graphics, nice sound, colorful and cute.
Not very challenging, but varied.
Many "weapons" to buy, which help destroy tiles.
But, unlike other reviews, for me is not a game to buy. There are many others, more entertaining and more challenging.
Trial was enough.

This is fun but I will never see how it ends, No 'save' feature
means each time you start again and I cannot play continuously for hours. Other reviewers thought it was challenging, and maybe it is at the end, but it seemed more like something even children could enjoy.

Everything was timed
As a fairly new beginner and being 73 years old, I can't get to the end on timed games. I did well for the 60 minutes but as it was getting harder, I knew I would not be able to go much farther on time. I wish there was some way for Big Fig to show easy games for beginners and to show if the game is timed or not. I really enjoyed some of the games I've gotten but many are just too difficult for my age and lack of experience. The 60 minutes helps sometimes but most of the time it doesn't show how difficult it gets AFTER the 60 minutes. This is probably a good game for more experienced people. You don't give a choice between 2 and 3 stars or I would have given this one 2 and a half stars. It was "OK" but I knew it would get too hard soon with it all being timed. I would buy more games if more of them offered the choice of timed and relaxed or not timed.
I don't recommend for beginners.

I liked the music but the colours are dull and no story line.
