Really basic, annoying music and monotonous
After playing garden rescue games I've become hooked on tower defense games. Maybe I've been spoiled with my first tower defense games being of the newer, higher standards of graphics variety. I found this game to be rather boring after a bunch of levels and ended up deleting it before my hour trial was up. The monster descriptions are cute, but everything is so small on the screen that you really can't tell one green monster from another as it progresses toward your defenseless village girls. The towers are basic and give you no noticeable perks when you upgrade them - no widening of shooting range, no show of how much the attack power rises if at all).
The music is the most annoying aspect of the game! I just kept picturing Alvin and the Chipmunks doo-doodling in a 30 second loop again and again and again. I don't get all the great hype on this game at all.

Great Game!!
I recently revived this game for my nephews to play,
For very young children like my nephews (4 and 5) I found some of the descriptions of the monsters a little questionable e.g. he will kiss you so deeply your whole body will feel it. Huh???
Apart from that I had forgotten how much fun it was. Kids love it and the later stages are challenging enough for this type of game. Please do a sequel!

An All-Time Favourite!
This is the game that introduced me to Tower Defense Games. Thank you!
I've played it so often, it's hard for me to remember how challenging I originally found it. I cannot tell you how many times I started over. LOL That was a huge part of the fun, though; figuring out how to get through the each level and have enough resources to make it through the next ones, as well.
This is a wonderful, wonderful game and I highly recommend it. I put it on par with Plants vs Zombies.
Every month or so, I check to see if Monster Mash 2 has come out. I would buy it in an instant! What a gem.

Don't Be Fooled
Do not be fooled by the "old school" graphics and simple (but pleasant) music, this game can be tough in the middle and later screens. You really have to make good tactical decisions and think fast at the same time. As you advance through the levels, your available options are stronger and more diverse, but so are the adversaries. It is exceedingly difficult to get through all the levels with zero losses, but it can be done - I did it!
