More Than A Card Game
I used to love playing games where you create & dress your character. I could spend hours finding just the right clothing, colors, hair color/style, etc. I had 10 characters in an online MMO just so I could have different looks.
In this game you can either use the clothes that they 'give' you, buy clothes from a store or best of all, design your own! It is a bit tricky at first to figure out the ins & outs & I probably spent 2 days figuring out how to match my colors/designs, but once you get the hang of it, it's great fun. You start out with a minimum number of each type of items, say 6 hairstyles, 6 tops, 6 jackets, 6 pants, etc. Your color pallet is a 12x6 grid. Though you can't make 'custom' colors, you can combine the colors, depending on one of many patterns, having more than one color in it. As you progress you unlock new patterns, style of items, etc.
To see your creations you design a 'custom' deck with your choices. Then you play the game part, which is where you are supposed to match what the model wants (1-3 things in a bubble over her head). She might want anything pink, a skirt & jewelry. Or she may want pants, a headband & something blue. You dress all the models (your goals are easy, progressing as you go, but I never lost a game).
This game is going to be great to replay. I have already redone the first 5 levels. You don't have to stick to any theme they give you, nor do you have to keep anything in your deck that you don't want. You can simply use the deck they give you & I am sure the younger players may do that, or you can simply buy what you want. I just prefer to design all my things. Wish there were more games like this!

I have played this game over and over. So different from normal solitaire. Challenging as the fashion show goes on. I would like another similar game. I don't do time management games, so this meant I could take my time.

What about Fashion Solitaire 2 and other?
I've played all three and wish they were all on Big Fish. I think one was called FS: Back to School...
Fashion Solitaire is very relaxing.

Nice Game for Children
Way too short!! My 9 year old loved it though! It was very, very easy but I have to admit it is fun to play over and over because you get to design your own clothes. I would suggest trying it before you buy it.

This is a cute game that combines fashion with one of my favourite types of card game.
I didn't love it but it was rather fun.
I completed this game without a problem as it was quite easy all the way through and have yet to replay it. To be honest it is rather forgettable and although good for a few hours first time around doesn't hold the appeal like other solitaire games.

Nothing "solitaire" about this game.
This is a fashion dress up game. The only thing "solitaire" about it is that the different styles of cllothing (a lot of which are ugly) are on cards - that's it.
Dress various models in clothes given you or that you can ultimately create. Bonuses given for cards that contain your own styles, matching model requirements, etc.
What I Liked:
What I Disliked:
Clothing didn't match the requirement for "night on the town". Choices stayed too limited so your "own personal line" was all the same styles.
Too many models, not enough hair styles. I'd run out of hair for the models before I'd run out of models. What sense is it to have 7 models to dress and 4 hair(s) for the level? And no skip button. The undo button couldn't be specified for an outfit or piece of clothing.
There are a lot better dress up games on the BFG site.
If you have a desire to play dress up, go to the mall.
