Pass this one by. I have to agree with other reviewers that the story is okay, the voiceovers are okay, and the scenery feels like you're in a museum, but this game has such serious problems that I couldn't wait to be done with it. As others mentioned, no hints at all outside of the HOS's so a lot of times you had no clue what to do or where to look for things. The graphics are so grainy that it's nearly impossible to spot anything even if you were looking in exactly the right spot. In the HOS's, items are often colored to blend in exactly with another object, or placed almost entirely out of the screen. The result was you had to click on any blob that might be the right blob, but of course, you get penalized for mis-clicks. Thanks very much for that! Even after using a hint and knowing right where a thing was, many times I still couldn't see it at all, so just blindly clicked in that area until I got it. It might have been a good game years ago, but I found it frustrating, irritating, and drudgery rather than fun. I can't recommend this to anyone. September 19, 2014
online escape games I was enjoying this but it was like some of the other escape games you get halfway through and the navigation stops and it is so frustrating I have asked this question numerous times and had no satisfactory replies when you go to one of the escape games please can you let people no about navigation August 16, 2014
Hard on the eyes .... I could actually go blind wt this game. I wish I never wasted my money on this game and only pray i get done, since i paid my money. June 6, 2013
What a difference over the years.. Played 2 first. It was challenging and ok. Thought I'd give this one a try. 30minutes into it, I quit. The graphics are horrible. I couldn't even tell what I was looking at. The game itself was way too simple. The only thing that made it hard was trying to figure out what you were looking at. I gave up. The storyline was decent but it just wasn't the challenge I enjoy. February 26, 2012
My all-time LEAST favorite game I bought this game a few years ago as the story concept seemed different and interesting. But I soon discovered that the numerous hidden object scenes with tiny, and sometimes almost invisible items to find, made the game tedious. Since there are many, many museum rooms to work your way through, I was thoroughly bored and VERY sorry I had laid out money for this game. I will say that I have purchased other games by this developer that I do like. As always, check out the demo for yourself. If you are into endless hidden object scenes with lots of tiny items to find, you may love the game. May 21, 2013
dated clunky and dated - needs deleting from catalogue now. a re-write of the same storyline with updated gameplay would be good - dinosaur bones coming to life and running away would be fun ! May 6, 2013
Oh the monotony!!!! The game is mediocre at best and that is on the "new levels" only as you are CONSTANTLY having to go back to prior levels and do the same thing over and over and over again. I love search games but this one makes me kinda hate em. Not only are you going back multiple times to do the same thing but the graphics are very poor. If you are familiar with the term "blob squatch" this game is riddled with them. 80% of the items you need to find look nothing like what they are supposed to be. Items hidden in dark corners with only one small dot of discoloration to set it apart from the darkness. Never have I played a game that I had to use the hint button so many times and not because they are cleverly hidden but because the graphic on each item is so poorly rendered it blends in with the background. So it really is not hidden but in a way disappears into the background making it not fun but pure frustration and would rather hint my way out than lose my eyesight straining to see the items. New levels are OK when you need to escape a room because they are indeed puzzles but other than that it is pure repetition to the point of being monotonous and not fun at all. August 14, 2012
