Like the TV show.
This game play very similar to the TV show which I really don't watch these days. It was to tedious for me because you had to read or listen to the products offered and then play the various games. Just not my cup of tea but still a cute game. There will be some that will love a game like this so I will recommend - but not for me.

I PLAY THIS GAME ON MY FRIENDS NOTEBOOK AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT I HAVE GOT REAL GOOD AT IT. i'll request that everybody should know about the price is right game on the enternet

Tedious and Boring
I always enjoyed watching this tv show but this game was not fun. The products up for bidding kept getting repeated so you remembered the price from before. The gameplay was slow, and you had to wait through the computer players turn before you got to bid or spin the wheel. The setup of each price game was clumsy and made it almost impossible to win. I was frustrated enough to stop playing.
There was no Bob Barker either.

Really?
This game is obviously set-up to work against you. If you get 95 on a spin, the computer player gets what they need to have 100. It will even move backwards to do it! The items are from the 70's, as if I should have a reasonable idea of what it would have cost back then. 15 minutes into the free trial and I couldn't even stomach it. It's a shame too, I love that show.

The Price Is Unbelievable
I don't know who designed this game or when, but it doesn't reflect real-world pricing. I was looking up actual prices of the goods throughout, and none of the "correct" prices in the game were remotely realistic. Suave hair conditioner is more than twelve dollars where I live; in the game, it's $1.09. Jalapeno Hot Salsa Sunflower Seeds cost between $13.47 and $17.95; in-game, they're $1.99. A regular package of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies is $3.99; in-game, it's fifty-five cents. FIFTY-FIVE CENTS! I don't think the price has been that low since the Reagan era!
There is no way to use actual experience in shopping for yourself or your family in this game. If you do so, you will overshoot.
It's not a bad game. The sound is especially good, though the graphics of the contestants have a Gumby-like quality. I suspect that the designers were striving to craft human-like characters that didn't tip over into the Uncanny Valley. In this, they succeeded. And they get bonus points for creating a middle-aged black woman and an elderly white woman as contestants.
But the prices definitely need to be updated for inflation.
