Enjoyed Playing Carol Reed's First Mystery! If you've ever wanted to try an Adventure Game or are an avid Adventure Game player such as myself, this is a great little game to relax, unwind and get involved in a good Mystery story Adventure game. Not actually a 360 game where you zoom around with a dizzying effect-- you do have to look thoroughly because there's no sparkles here! While searching for "something different" than gloom and doom, found this lovely young lady and an interesting story. Thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and getting to know Carol and hearing her very awesome British accent. Carol is not a big talker nor is anyone else in this first installment. Scenes are a mixture of artwork and photography--too cool. Onto the next in this series on BFG which is #3 in the series--"Time Stand Still". If interested, the following are listed according to release dates and BFG availability: 1. Remedy 3. Time Stand Still 4. East Side Story 5. The Color of Murder 6. Black Circle - A Carol Reed Mystery 7. Blue Madonna - A Carol Reed Story Enjoy! -Mama Mia- September 26, 2012
Fantastic game! I decided to play this game again while waiting for the newest game in the Carol Reed series to come out. So glad I did! Reminds me why I bought this game to begin with. Beautiful graphics, relaxing music, great storyline! Lots to explore and interact with! Great start for this series, and they just get better! Purely adventure, no HOS, but is fantastic! Doesn't hold your hand through the game, but Big Fish has the strategy guide. Makes you think every step of the way. Anyone who loves adventure games or mysteries will love Carol Reed! March 16, 2013
Pure and simple fun! If you like simple, reality based problem solving and interesting real life mystery to solve - then you will enjoy this. There are no hidden objects or slide puzzles to solve which I like. The interface is a little wobbly so you have to really search 360 degrees at each step as to not miss objects or clues - but I like games where you have to roam and explore and this one is great. I had to go to the creators website and download the sound patch - but after that it worked like a charm. Give it a try! January 17, 2012
Testing but not impossible! This was a fantastic adventure game - not too long, not too complex. It had a good story and the puzzles were varied. Some were easy, others more challenging and nothing impossible. Very good fun and I'll definitely be playing more Carol Reed adventures! January 24, 2012
FYI I love these Carol Reed games, but I think I started with the most recent ones and went backwards. So, Just letting you know that These are GREAT GAMES to play, fun, challenging and different in a good way. Also great scenery. I did not like this one just because of the poor graphics, newer versions are much, much better. May 28, 2012
Not her best this game was much too short and i did not like the photoshopped pics...i prefer the real photos in The Color Of Blood and Black Circle...if we are going to Sweden, let's see the real thing...but in the end, this is still a Carol Reed Mystery and that makes it worth it! August 15, 2013
I quite playing it I just had a hard time getting use of the 360. Tried playing it but just game up. Might be the game for you. I'd try it out first. August 23, 2012
