Curse of the Pharaoh: The Quest for Nefertiti 3.5 5 8 8
Great Trilogy I really like the Pharaoh's Trilogy. Good Atmosphere, great music, nice graphics, and a lot of things to do: collect coins, earn extra hints, several and funny puzzles, besides the HOS, that are very clear. A very good way to relaxing and having fun. January 7, 2012
Curse of the Pharaoh Trilogy - Part II - Solid, Good Quality Game Deserving 5 Stars.A crazed brother deeply affected by an Egyptian curse. Egyptian artifacts, settings, great music, well lit hidden objects all contribute to the depth of this well-researched game. The story line continued from Napoleon's Secrets which I call Part I and then Part III--Tears of Sekhmet. Other fun stuff going on such as finding coins to make store purchases, using tools in scenes and clicking on "Wipi" who pops in at the screen edge, for extra hints. It's a shame these really fun games fell through the cracks of being really great games. BFG could sell these as a combo pack as I purchased separately during their awesome Sale but would not have otherwise. Thanks BFG November 28, 2011
I did have to start over once but that's sort of what it's all about, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. but i was having so much fun, i didn't mind starting over. AND there is a walk thru so if you are kind of new, you have a life line! like i have said before, after playing one of the games, i had to play the other 2! i will play this one again. Curse of the Pharaoh The Quest for Nefertiti The challenge and fun are taken away from the game due to the hint tells you where everything is. It does not give you any time to have a good look. Very disappointed as the other two Curse of the Pharoahs I have are good. It is more differences than hidden object. December 5, 2011
Terminally broken This is an old game, and yet the developers have never addressed some fatal errors that make the game unplayable at points. As in - you have to start over from square one and remember not to accidentally lock yourself out of moving forward again by doing something they could have easily patched away. In addition, the game play itself is pretty basic. Definitely not worth the hassle of starting over once I encountered the fatal bug. December 11, 2011
Time Passer As for recommending... your choice since I'm in two minds about it. One of the annoying things was the black jackal popping up in various areas in game play with very little time to click on it because you're too busy searching for the hidden objects. Been a long time since I played this game so I can't remember much about it any more but I do remember thinking it's okay, not great. January 23, 2012
Pharaonic Fun A relatively short game with lots of spot-the-difference scenes, as well as puzzles that close out each chapter that are easy to moderate in difficulty . . . The story line is interesting, & is continued in the next two games of the current trilogy . . . I wasn't too impressed with the graphics, which I think contributes to making some of the differences to find in some scenes an extra challenge . . . This is mitigated by the game giving you a hint with a little sparkle near the difference, though, in the easy mode of play . . . Wipi, the little companion, is always on hand to give some help . . . ! With the option of either easy or difficult modes, this is a very fun game . . . December 23, 2011
buy it on sale I purchased this game as well as the next two in the story. It's a good game, relaxing, easy-to-see object hunts, but it has it's faults. First, this game froze on me twice while playing. I had to shut down the game and go back in. I did not lose my place in the story, but it was annoying to suddenly have it lock up. This problem was corrected in the next consecutive games, so you can continue the story without interruption. I purchased all three during one of Felix's specials, so I feel I got what I paid for.
