NOT GOOD BAD I gave it two stars because other hidden objects was more harder than this one but this one was frustration. The storyline was not good. I thought i was getting a strategy guide with the game and all you get is three pages. Other games have the strategy book inside the game and it points you in the right direction this one only gave you three pages and it take you to back to Big Fish web site. Visual and Sound Quality Excellent. I like hidden objects game but this one is very poor no explanation on how to play the mimi games. Sometimes the journals in games is like the game guide it tells you what to do not this one. September 1, 2014
I love hidden object games, but not this one. I purchased this game in December, after trying it out. I thought it was interesting and something I would enjoy. Boy, was I wrong! It is really repetitive, in both the HO scenes and the storyline. The same pages to be collected from the journal come up in different places. The games usually have no instructions and they are not intuitive. Also, if you don't click in the correct place on an object it won't be collected. The hints are of minimal use. Clicking randomly sometimes worked for me. I don't know if it will ever come to a conclusion, because it doesn't hold my interest long enough. I wish I had read all the bad reviews before I bought the game. February 2, 2014
I'm not impressed with this one... I bought this game at my local entertainment store on a 'best of Big Fish' CD. Needless to say, I have already uninstalled it. Although the game had a fairly good storyline, I was unable to focus on that due to the constant HOS. There was one after the other with very little adventure to this 'adventure' game. Also, I found my eyes straining to find the objects in the scenes after only an hour of play. I didn't find the graphics to be as crisp and easy on the eyes as I would have liked them to be. The game did have a considerable length to it, which was a plus. I did finish the game but was left with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth and a couple of very sore eyeballs. If you are looking for a long game with many, many HOS, very few puzzles and limited dialogue, then this is the game for you. July 16, 2013
What happened to Rachel? One boring HO scene after another. One of the characters, Rachel, disappears and no reason or resolution is included. On some of the puzzles it took me as much as 15 minutes to determine the objective of the puzzle. Considering I am an advanced puzzler those of you who aren't are going to need a walkthrough. Purely HO with a few puzzles, not an adventure! From what I gather after 10 minutes of play is that you are requested to help find a mutual friend lost in the Amazon rainforest. Nothing but hidden object scenes, you do interact with certain items in the scene to obtain other items for use in that scene or a later scene or puzzle. That?s about all there is to it. I stopped playing after 10 minutes because the storyline just didn?t hold my attention and got boring pretty fast. Not a strategy or adventure game, not sure why it's classified as such, it is purely hidden object! Recommended for those that love only hidden object games without much of anything else, (which is why I selected "recommended"). August 18, 2012
Waste of time and money! This is the most frustrating game ever. No useful tips. No explanation or instructions for any of the mini puzzles, and god forbid you should get stuck because you won't get help and you cannot move on! What's the point of having a game you can't finish? This game totally bites! IWANT A REFUND! February 22, 2014
Lack of clues and help I hated this game. I just gave up because of the lack of explanation regarding the puzzles. If there was a solve button I would have continued on just to finish it .... but seeing as how there wasn't one, I just deleted it. A waste of money. July 6, 2014
