Pick this game up before it stops being available, and becomes the chopped up 'dumbed down' version.
I have just replayed this game and it still stands the test of time being one of the all time greats. I do advise you to play the first game in the series as even though there is a recap button in the main menu you will miss out a lot if you haven't. I didn?t play Syberia before playing this the first time and I deeply regretted it. I didn?t know much about the characters or why I was stuck in a station etc.
While the first game is great this is spectacular. The settings and scenery is amazing and unique, the variety is great also. You don?t get as many automatons in this game, so you may miss that. You find about what happened to the characters in the first game which was a nice touch.
The first Syberia was all about Kate?s adventures as a lawyer representing a company who wants to buy this toy factory but the legal owner is missing and she sets out to find him.
In Syberia II this is all about the man?s dream, experienced through the eyes of Kate Walker ? your character. All the missions and goals in the game is to fulfil Han?s dream, to go to Syberia to meet the mammoths, a land that very few know anything about or even believe exist.
It?s a large file game so it?s a manual save game and don?t rely on the icon changing to tell you where to go. Frequently I found it didn?t work and sometimes you have to walk to the side of a screen to open up new areas.
It?s the type of adventure game that?s all about the epic adventure, there isn?t that much ?doing? things but there is more than Syberia. Exhaust all dialogue with everyone and carefully comb areas for interactions. You can replay the cutscenes in the main menu.
This game has soul, character, uniqueness that is often missing from games. It?s different but it?s a great adventure. I did find the initial bit was my least favourite area in the game but once you find the monastery and then leave that town, it?s pure fun.
The ending will stay with you.

One of my all time favorites.
I played the first Syberia and LOVED IT. The graphics are great and the story pulls one right into the game. I love a game that has individual puzzles that make one really think... If you like solving riddles, puzzles, and making that gray matter sweat this is one to download. And keep, because you will want to play it again.
-Great, novel-like story
-Interesting, first person character, walk through play
-Great puzzles, riddles
-Hours of play for the value (I purchased Syberia I and II a couple of years ago, I see that it is now distrib. in 3 packages? so time distrib. may be different... I am sure the game is still just as great!)
-Some people may find certain puzzles and play difficult, nothing too bad- just enjoy!
I hope that they continue this character.

Continuing Kate Walker's journey...or beginning a new one? I absolutely love that this game picks up EXACTLY where the first game leaves off.

The Rocky Balboa of Adventure Games!!
More intrinsic scenes, lands and characters to savor as we continue the Syberia Journey. Typically, a "good-enough" sequel is difficult to develop especially when following a masterpiece such as Syberia I. Not to be disappointed in this Sequel as we explore deeper into the realms of brilliance in Syberia II. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

This game had great everything and has become my new favorite! The storyline and visual quality was fantastic and far above what I was expecting. The strategy challenges at times were very difficult, which I loved, but I would not recommend this game to smaller children just from that perspective. In addition to all of this, it was a good long game with a lot of locations and levels. Have fun playing, you will enjoy the storyline and graphics, it will really draw you in.

Engaging adventure, loveable charas and compelling game play. Good amount of puzzles that aren't too terribly difficult, keeping you interested, not frustrated.
