The Price is Right Too much repetition with the show case which is a shame as it would be a good game otherwise. March 2, 2012
Fun for a little awhile. It plays almost like the real show, except you go up on stage and play a pricing game whether you win the contestant's row bid or now. It's helpful to have the sound on, the description of the items for bid is captioned at the bottom of the screen, but the picture of the item is small, and it's hard to read the description and look at the item at the same time. But, the noise from the audience is annoying, though I'm sure you can change the volume. I found the prices to be off, both too high or too low, like others who've rated the game. You get to the showcase showdown to spin the wheel no matter what. It appears you keep collecting the money you win, and there's some sort of ranking system, but I didn't get that far. So basically, for me, the graphics were really good, I liked the pricing games, but it got very repetitious and boring within the trial. It wouldn't be a game I would play, but I'm recommending it because I'm sure others would really like it. October 2, 2013
the price is right i bought this disk game even if your price is wrong you still play the game i should have bought the 2010 one instead the games are fun but it only has the same 4 people with different names there has to be better ones then this one May 21, 2013
Tedious and Boring I always enjoyed watching this tv show but this game was not fun. The products up for bidding kept getting repeated so you remembered the price from before. The gameplay was slow, and you had to wait through the computer players turn before you got to bid or spin the wheel. The setup of each price game was clumsy and made it almost impossible to win. I was frustrated enough to stop playing. There was no Bob Barker either. December 10, 2011
The Price Is Unbelievable I don't know who designed this game or when, but it doesn't reflect real-world pricing. I was looking up actual prices of the goods throughout, and none of the "correct" prices in the game were remotely realistic. Suave hair conditioner is more than twelve dollars where I live; in the game, it's $1.09. Jalapeno Hot Salsa Sunflower Seeds cost between $13.47 and $17.95; in-game, they're $1.99. A regular package of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies is $3.99; in-game, it's fifty-five cents. FIFTY-FIVE CENTS! I don't think the price has been that low since the Reagan era! There is no way to use actual experience in shopping for yourself or your family in this game. If you do so, you will overshoot. It's not a bad game. The sound is especially good, though the graphics of the contestants have a Gumby-like quality. I suspect that the designers were striving to craft human-like characters that didn't tip over into the Uncanny Valley. In this, they succeeded. And they get bonus points for creating a middle-aged black woman and an elderly white woman as contestants. But the prices definitely need to be updated for inflation. March 2, 2012
Boring-Not much challenge Didn't even get through 10 minutes of trial then TRASHED. No fun. August 13, 2012
Really? This game is obviously set-up to work against you. If you get 95 on a spin, the computer player gets what they need to have 100. It will even move backwards to do it! The items are from the 70's, as if I should have a reasonable idea of what it would have cost back then. 15 minutes into the free trial and I couldn't even stomach it. It's a shame too, I love that show. November 24, 2012
