Lots of Hidden Objects but.... i tried the trial for about 15 minutes and did not listen to dialog. Too much of it and you can't skip this. You go to a scene and find hidden objects which are well hidden - good job here. But then it takes you to dialog between members - i don't listen and prefer to skip this part of all games. Then you get to go to another scene and find hidden objects. so far that's all it does. Find objects then dialog, find objects then dialog.... -- What else the game has, i do not know because I want more and expect more than just finding hidden objects and a lot of dialog. Beginner Pocahontas Very poor graphics, items difficult to locate as screen is too dark with no vibrant or distinctive colors. Story lines are equal to second grade reader, they do not flow well. Not much to like in this game. May 15, 2012
Not even for $2.99! But also, not the worst I have trialed. I played the 60 minute trial. Very basic 2D graphics. Story seems to be a very poor representation of Pocahontas's life story. Click on bubbles to progress the dialog which can not be skipped. Dialog scenes remind me of Elementary School shoe box scenes, with the people glued to popsicle sticks, but that may even be better than this games graphics and story line. Story is choppy and hard to follow at times. Birds and bumble bees or flies shoot across the scene without even flapping their wings. Music is calm instrumentals during most hidden object scenes, which I did enjoy. Some scenes the music was changed from the instrumental and unfortunately it was obnoxious . HO scenes were very cluttered and often very difficult to find the items, due to either dark scenes or items placed same color on same color or just poorly illustrated items that were barely recognizable as the item listed. Once you had been sent to the same scene for the third time, with the same items in the very same places, just asking for a different list of items, obviously then, it was much easier to locate the items. Even the choice of objects that the developer used did not flow with the scene or the over all story as scenes included camels and hippos along with grim reaper ghosts and Michelangelo's "David". This game often felt abrupt, cluttered and sometimes confusing. It did not draw you in and make you want to play the next scene or cause you to want to know what is going to happen next with the characters. For myself I am surprised I was able to stick it out the whole hour. I am not sure I would even recommend this game if it was free. I would probably just recommend turning the computer off and reading a good book instead of playing this game. There are far too many good to excellent games here on Big Fish Games for you to even waste your time playing this disappointing game. For those who did enjoy this game, I am grateful that someone did. As always, you are the best judge of what you enjoy, so if it doubt, try it out for yourself. May 15, 2012
Pocahontas I thought this game was kinda fun.....I loved the many HOS.....I hate to keep mentioning this, people, but these ARE Hidden Object Games......Don't know why you keep complaining about too many HO scenes.....This is why I started playing this type of game, for the hidden objects.....This game gives you historical facts & it's fun to find out the many different things of the story.....Sure, it's not up to date but it's still a good game......I give it a big thumbs up & I would recommend this game.... HO game with no flavor I played the demo, I have to say there was no challenge what so ever. The HO scenes are a bit crowded and the objects are small usually but no challenge just getting my face real close to the monitor in attempt to locate those sneaky hidden objects, I found myself clicking randomly when frustrated. If you click to many times to fast and don't hit your target you get red light flashing, one step before the game self destruct I guess? Mini games are very easy and not brain stimulating. Audio was OK, dialogs were cheaply made nothing interesting, I skipped them by clicking frantically. If given for free I might play the rest, but not worth purchasing. May 15, 2012
Older type of game This game is just ok. It is an older type, too much dialogue. The same scenes and objects are repeated, and it is pretty boring. Other than that, it is a playable hidden object game which is not difficult. It just isn't fun. May 15, 2012
Fun and a living historical hidden object game Not only is this hidden object game fun, it isn't full of horror pictures and objects. My daughter loves this game as well as I do, and neither of us wants to see all the horror, and thanks to this game, we won't. It also has some historical facts in it as well as objects from the time period. This game is not extremely challenging, but also not easy. Just right, I would say, and there's a hint button if you need it. I'd say a Beginner would be good at this as well as an Expert. If a begginer gets stuck, all they need do is click on the hint. Kick back for a while and enjoy it. I'm looking forward to an iPad version. January 23, 2013
Yuck One of the worst games I have ever tried. Would not want it as a gift. Sorry but I expected more. May 15, 2012
An OK game The visuals are not great .... neither is the spelling. E.g., "loose" instead of "lose" and "prey" instead of "pray." Not one of the best hidden object games I've played, but OK. May 18, 2012
relaxing Not too bad of a game. Very relaxing to play. March 10, 2012
