This is a really fun game! I took a chance purchasing it seeing as not many people seem to have taken much notice of it - but I kid you not, this is the only game I've played on this site that has lasted longer than a few hours. It has been about 6 days and I am still going!
It's great, you can customize your avatar and there are lots of missions to keep you going for days. The graphics could be much better, but in the end if it's a fun game it doesn't matter too much about the graphics.

Whimsical and fun + flying pets
An entertaining game with flying pets that pick fruit and dig up all kinds of useful things from holes in the ground. I like that the game isn't timed, and you can just relax and enjoy it. The tasks are low-key, which adds to the low-stress appeal. It was just a little confusing wandering around as you couldn't get a bird's eye view of the island. Animations are good but the graphics are a little basic, which is why it lost 1 star. It was fun, however, creating a customized avatar that looked like me, but better.

It's Been a While, but Good Kids' Game!
It's been a while since I played this game, but I remember really enjoying it. It had a cute storyline and interesting quests, but I remember getting a little frustrated with the repetition of some of the tasks. The graphics were great, though. It's a nice game for older kids who can read some, or for older and younger siblings to play together

Quite good at start, but boring on the long run
I know that this game had a lot of five stars comments, and being a "lone voice" is often unpleasant. But after all a review must be objective.
After a very good start, WW disappointed me.
On the good side, the game is nice and completely lacks of any violence, so is ok for children. The storyline is rather interesting, there are some good ideas and a decent amount of humour.
Yet, on the bad side, once the novelty wears off, the game becomes more and more boring. Basically, you repeat again and again the same sequence of actions with no challenge at all: walk here and there, collect objects, assemble them, bring them to characters and get new missions.
After more than 100 missions, the game became so boring that I gave up.
So this is a rare case where the main complain could be "too long" instead than the usual "too short". Too bad, really.

Wander here and wander there, fuzzy friends with lots of hair!
A cute-sy game that draws you in with it's simplicity and humor, giving lots of hours of fun.
The premise is that in order to leave the island where you crash landed, you have to help the islanders by giving them objects you find/ grow/ make, accompanied by a faithful animal companion who can climb, dig and charm other animals into dropping goodies.
I bought it after only 15 mins of demo, knowing I was hooked already. It took 3 solid evenings of playing for 4-5 hours at a time to complete.
It is really not a hard game at all. But a nice brain resting game that you can play whilst watching the TV - clicking here and there to walk about and collect items.
There is a lot of 'wandering', indicated in the title, but the fact that everywhere there is some dig/climb/charm action you can be doing, even if you have passed that way before.; and that the island is split into 2 small manageable parts to which you can teleport to the center of each at any time - makes it a pleasure to walk about.
That the tasks are repetitive (go fetch/make etc) you don't notice or care so much, because: you unlock different parts of the island to explore and get new inventory, you have to grow different items, you so want to see what the characters will do/say/dress up in, next. The interactions between the islanders, makes you WANT to complete the quests to see what funny responses you are going to get.
The game makes things as simple as possible to track what you are doing or need to do/collect in a task bar. Which also provides object creation shortcuts for a quest items - meaning you can focus on playing rather than writing a 'todo' list for the game.
If you are feeling whimsical, you can change your wardrobe according to what you can make. I don't normally care at all what my characters are dressed in, and just want to complete quests. But when I got a pattern for a wedding dress. I couldn't resist. And then when I could make Greek Armor and wear it with Space Wings... Irresistible and quite snazzy!
If you want something that is not overly taxing, engaging and hours of fun, this will do nicely. A hidden gem.

The cover page is very deceiving
It's very basic. I enjoy a laid back game every once in a while, but this was a game that seemed dated. I just finished playing castaway so maybe I was expecting too much. The graphics look nothing like the cover page you see!
