Yawn Factor. I bought this game because I liked the other Mystic Diary one and presumed this one would be good too. It is so dull. The hidden objects are dull, the story line DULL and the challenges are not challenging at all. All in all DULLSVILLE! save your money there are some great games on Big Fish and this is not one of them.. I am glad I paid Sale Price for this one. December 9, 2011
For hidden object lovers From Sunray Games this is for those of us who like our hidden objects; they are in the form of word lists or silhouettes where you have to find an object that matches the shape. Some of the items are very well hidden or rather small so if you have to use the hint button the 60 second recharge can seem like an eternity. I found some objects rather hard to pick up; for instance in the first scene I knew I had to get the pen but it took eight clicks to get it. There is no choice of gameplay so sparkles & glints abound; you will collect inventory items to use & some will need to be joined together to complete a task. The mini puzzles do not have any help & it can be hard to work out what on earth you are supposed to do but they really are the best part of this game; there is a skip button. Most of the puzzles are reasonable easy, Simon Says, pipes, guide a ball through a maze, etc. Sometimes the dialogue will tell you that magic has been sensed & you will have to guide a magnifying glass around the screen to ?draw? a flaming symbol; no idea why & it seems a bit pointless. The graphics are crisp & the artwork well drawn although it looks a little dated against more modern games. There are no voiceovers & the dialogue is clickable; the music subtle & there are some good background sounds but this does seem to be a very quiet game. It is rather short & I played it in about 2 hours. May 28, 2012
Wouldn't Recommend Since other newer more complex games are coming out, this is a teeny bopper. December 1, 2011
Pass on this one ! No good graphics / no challenge / so many none well done hidden object scene / a boring story. Everything is so bad :o( And this game has a sequel ? Men... January 10, 2012
Lost Brother personally i enjoyed this game. sometimes it is nice to have a pretty easy game to play. i do not think it is a teeny bopper game. but it is a nice one if your new to hog's :) or even if your not! i found it fun and delightful. some hogs r like reading stephen kings "the stand" after reading a heavy novel it is nice to take a break and read a silly harlequin romance book u can finish in about 6-8 hours....hope u like the analogy lol anyway try the demo not every game is for everyone! ik there r a few hogs there is no way in heck i would even spend 2.99 on! so i hope you at least play the demo and see for yourself ^^. So boring I gave up... I'm a HOG/Puzzle lover and I gave up on this one after a short period. It was just AWFUL. I apologize to the game developers, but there just wasn't anything redeeming about the game. :( March 9, 2013
Standard Hidden Object Game Not much to say here. The entire game consisted of hidden object scenes (and not very interesting ones at that), tied to a familiar, yet uneven, storyline. Deduct a star if you abandon these types of games before finishing them. January 27, 2013
Pass on this one I gave mystic mystic diary games a chance. Will not try another one. Get puppet show. August 11, 2012
