Help Dillinger And Baby Face Rob Banks! I really don't understand why this game received such poor ratings, there's all kinds of unique aspects of this game. First of all you get to choose Gangster mode (timed) or Lightweight mode (untimed). Then you get to choose which gangster you want to be, a new member is added after each level. Each gangster has their own speciality or role, such as safe cracking ability. Then you choose which bank to rob (redistribute the wealth) again more are added as you progress. Each bank has 7 hidden wanted posters, inside and out. Each scene has round button with letters hidden that spell Dillinger, again inside and out so when you are casing the joint you need to make sure you have found the available ones because you don't get a chance to go back outside. Any coins or money you find net you more money, they won't be on the list but click on them anyway. There are hidden vaults to find that will give you 10 extra seconds each, to crack the vault in the bank. Every HOS has an item in green which in a sort of riddle formation to figure out. Before you rob the bank, there is a mini game, which in my opinion was boring, you place men at the bank entrances one of which you click to move over coins that are in random spots and then back to the entrance to stop citizens from leaving. Once inside the bank you need to collect different colored keys to the vault as well as all the list items. After completing the HOS you get to crack the vault. You place the different colored keys into the keyholes but they must be in specific slots in the correct order. See, I told you there was a ton of things to do in this game, enjoy! February 25, 2014
A Dillinger fan of Dillinger As a young teen I have really enjoyed the game. Besides, my last name is Dillinger and I am related. The games is not too hard, but some of the HO parts are challenging. I like looking for all the letters to spell out DILLINGER during the game and getting all the money. February 12, 2012
Love the Game; Love That Music Score! When I purchased the game, I had no idea it would be as challenging as it was (mostly to find everything). I love "Hidden Object" games, but what I enjoyed most about it (this sounds silly) was the Big Band music that played during some of the levels which took place inside the banks. I've always been a big fan of Big Band/Swing music and have tried to figure out who the artist was, or was this music someone came up with just to include in the game as part of the soundtrack? I wish I could get a copy of that music. It's fast and lively and represents the heart of Big Band music. Anyone able to answer my question of whether it is by some famous artist or just made to be a part of the game, I would really appreciate it. December 18, 2014
I'm Not Into Timed Games. Wow what a different kind of game! There is lots to do in this game. I played the full demo in the easier of the 2 game modes. It's the story of John Dillinger and his gang who rob banks. You choose the bank to rob and pick a gang member who gives you something extra in your game play like an extra 20 seconds to crack the safe. Then you arrive outside the bank to "case the joint" where you are presented with: -- a list of objects to find, -- plus typewriter keys spelling out Dillinger (some of these will be outside the bank while the rest will be inside. If you miss any on the outside you will not have an opportunity to go outside to find it after you enter the bank.) The spelling of Dillinger grants $5,000. -- bank notes or coins (but I didn't spot any coins -- just paper money.) -- wanted posters -- bank vault images which grant extra time in "cracking the safe" You are given 3 hints to complete this timed HOS. You then enter the bank. Now this part just made no sense at all to me. You are tasked to prevent customers from leaving the bank by blocking the exits. I played 3 "bank heists" and in all three, I was presented with 1 or 2 stationary robbers guarding the exits while I moved 1 robber into a spot by an exit. Then you just wait for a couple of minutes while customers move towards the exits but are blocked by robbers. That's it -- you just wait until the clock runs out. I got up and fixed me another cup of coffee and just waited. This could have been left completely out. There was no reason for it IMHO. Next you are presented with another HOS and just like in the previous scene there are the remaining typewriter keys spelling out Dillinger, bank notes, vault images, and remaining wanted posters. In addition there are 5 colored keys which you must find to continue to open the vault. Again you have 3 hints in this timed HOS. Next you are presented with the vault where you randomly place the colored keys until the safe is open. That's it. You're loot is tallied up and you're on to the next bank. While this will appeal to some, it doesn't appeal to me because of the timed HOS and only having limited hints. Although I only used a couple and had no problem completing the scenes within the time allowed, I know that the scenes will only get harder and it will make me nervous so it's a no buy for me but I will still recommend the game as it does have some fun aspects. Play the demo for yourself and read some reviews. I hope you read mine and find it helpful in making your decision. Good gaming! July 30, 2014
To many changes room to room not up to parr. Pick another game....................... March 11, 2013
Over and Over I have played the same scenes in this game over and over and only completed the first two. Now I am playing the third one over and over. This is crazy. I do not recommend this unless you like repetition. April 13, 2012
