Another Excellent Midnight Mystery All 3 Midnight Mysteries are great. I played this one about a fortnight ago, and have just replayed it. There was no sense of deja vu, I still had to work to find all the objects and solve puzzles, even though I had played it so recently. Graphics and sounds are not as exciting as Devil on the Mississippi, but that's as it should be expected. The story occasionally gets confusing, unless you really stay on top of the clues. I particularly like being able to see a silhouette of an object before resorting to a hint. Tips: Watch the colour of the "interact" cursor to get the exact spot to click on your tool. Otherwise it is easy to rule out a tool that works, because of inexact clicking. January 24, 2012
Interesting game.... I really enjoyed this game, although my biggest complaint was the shortness of it. It should have been longer so I could continue playing it. Don't really feel like I got my money's worth. February 26, 2012
ONE OF MY FAVORITES I love hidden oject games and this one keeps you looking, if you need hints they are there the story line is really good . This one you can play over and over again. Have fun, I know I did. It kept me up for hours, just couldn't stop playing till I reach the end. Great game. August 9, 2012
Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy This is a fun loving and interesting game for any Hidden Object lover and great for Edgar Allen Poe fans! It really made you feel sad for Poe..But avenging his story brings a smile to your face..A must have! Great Game! April 28, 2013
Good visual effects and challenging. it is a good game but it is wise to always play the online game before you decide to buy the game that way you can determine whether it is your type of game playing. Try it before you buy plan. April 1, 2013
Awesome I love almost all of the Midnight Mysteries games, but this one seems to stick with me. I love this one. It is my favourite of them all. Salem Witch Trials and Devil on the Mississippi May be flashier, but this one is classic. I didn't really like Witches of Abraham. Having said all that, I really, really, REALLY wish this would come out for iPad. That would make me happy. If the makers of this game are listening, pleeeeeeease. Haha. Love this game April 27, 2014
Great Game; Great Series I loved this first game in the series. (I also loved the next two in the series). The graphics are great, the play is fun and the story is interesting. A must for Poe fans! February 19, 2012
Good times! This was the game that hooked me on HOGs in the first place, but I'm a big Poe fan and a sucker for ravens. It's been a while since I first played it, but I loved the ambiance of the graphics and the music. A fun game all around, and it had me hooked from the start. October 6, 2012
Poe's Playhouse I've read all of Poe's books but to have them in game form is just too cool. The graphics and the story lines are just wonderful. Full of suspense and at times makes you feel like your part of the game. I hope there are more Poe mystery games to come in the future. September 8, 2012
GREAT GAME ALTHOUGH A LITTLE SHORT I really liked this game and couldn't stop playing it. I love books and a game based on a real author and his books is very appealing to me. This game was not hard, although at times some of the hidden objects were a little elusive. I used some hints to find some of the objects, but didn't need any hints or a walk through to complete the game. The puzzles were fairly easy. The game play was varied and engaging; very little repetition at all. Lots of hidden object scenes and lots of different types. It seemed a little short to me, but maybe it was because it was so enjoyable. I'm ready to play the other games in this series, and just hope they are as good as this one. May 18, 2014
