Good game for October Spooky HOG! Wonderful hidden objects, good story. Will be a game I play over and over again! December 10, 2011
Mean Manor I did so enjoy this game. The story line reminded me of Dracula(don't know why) and some of the legends of Europe. The game play was great. The HO's were not too hard and the hint would give shilotes of the objects. If you could not find them then, the locket also gave you a sound and when you got close it went really fast. I had a blast!! Am on my way to by the other becky brogan game. March 2, 2014
Fun HOG for a rainy April day If you want adventure mixed in, this is not it. This is a true Hidden Object Game. No running around, back and forth, just objects to find. I loved it! This is what I want when I look for a HOG. Some puzzles, a story presented in comic book fashion and HOSs. Fun sound effects, too. The hint works like a geiger counter, very cool. And the pages of the journal are down right beautiful, looking like combinations of watercolor paintings and collages. April 6, 2014
Only one big issue I would have given this game a 5-star rating, if the ending would have answered more of my questions. May 20, 2013
Investigate The Haunted Meane Manor Becky Brogan has always been interested in puzzles and mysteries, she has a knack for finding missing items too. I thought this was a relaxing hidden object game, nicely done. There is an available Free mode where you can play hidden object scenes again in any location that has been played in the story mode. Each scene in the story mode has three hidden cats that are used for hints and I will admit that I couldn't find a few of them, the number of cats/hints seems to be unlimited as well. There were only two things I didn't like which kept me from giving this game 5 stars. Some of the items are too small to recognize and the scenes are repeated, the list items are different but the cat/hints are the same cats in the same exact place. Other than that I really had fun playing this game, enjoy! March 25, 2014
Boring!! Repeat scenes for HOG. Story line is boring also. It makes little sense. I would not buy this or recommend it for purchase March 1, 2012
I Would Have Played if Only I Could Have Seen...... the items I was looking for in this HOG heavy game. What lies behind the evil mist at Meane Manor? Is it the manor itself, someone or something else? You are Becky Brogan, a high school senior whose grandmother had left a locket with special power - it allows you to see the unseen - yeah, right - but NOT in the way you think. The graphics in this game are HORRIBLE. Laid out like a comic book, it reads worse than any mystery you could ever read. Too much conversation and too little action. You go from area to area playing HOGs - that's all you do - play HOGs. And, I wouldn't have minded that except the items in the first scene are PERFECT but they have you fooled - because the HOG scenes after that are impossibly difficult to find. Your items are hidden among what looks like thousands of tiny items. Your hints are limited unless you find 3 hidden cats in each HOG, then you get 1 additional hint per cat, but even those are worse than impossible to find. Giving this game 2 stars is a stretch in the wrong direction for me, but 1 star distinguishes the word "hate" and I don't like that word so the worst I can ever give is a 2 star. If I could rate this as no stars that would be more perfect. Not only will I uninstall as quickly as possible, I cannot in good conscience encourage anyone to try it - free or not. Why ruin your good eyesight? June 28, 2014
Poor HOG it's not challenging or entertaining the Hint Locket is kind of cool with the sound and everything but that's it the storyline in dreadful try another game July 13, 2013
Poor hidden object game Becky Brogan was a hard hidden object game. Items were hard to find because the game was not the best quality. When using a hint,it gave you no idea where the object was. Becky was also a nervous nelly when trying to find objects and I found it annoying that it kept saying she was nervous. I would NOT recommend this to my friends. July 30, 2012
