Bricks of Atlantis
This game is good old-fashioned fun! I find myself coming back to it again and again when I want to relax.
Love the background music. It is soothing and not distracting in any way. It's fun to watch the screen fill up with various types of fishes, each with its own special appetite.
There really is no storyline per se but you do get to progress through the levels.
There is a hidden "bonus"--if you finish a level and still have some stars available, you can keep playing and get the extra points as long as you don't let the ball drop off the screen. Also, if the clams stay after the end of a level, you can still bounce the ball off of them for additional points as well!
Game is a bit retro, not flashy or noisy. That's why it is one of my go to games when I just want to sit back and relax. A great little brick buster!

Under the Sea ....... Under the Sea.......
Yep, that's where you'll be playing Bricks of Atlantis....under the sea.
Amazing! Truly Amazing! The colors were stunning. The jellyfish in jewel-tone colors. The clownfish. Everything was just so stunningly beautiful it was hard for me, at times, to concentrate on the game and not the undersea world playing out before me.
I tuned the volume down (7 week old rescued baby puppy on my arm) but I'm sure the background music was remarkable. Based on the graphics and the sound effects - it has to be.
As in any brick breaking game, your goal is to clear the game board of all bricks before losing all your lives and level up. As you level up, the game becomes harder. You will get bonuses by breaking bricks (or in this case coral, starfish, etc.). Good bonuses are green. Bad bonuses are red and the skull and crossbones is deadly.
There are 12 (I think) "level packs" each containing 8 levels to pass. 6 "level packs" are unlocked but you must pass those "level packs" in order to unlock the corresponding locked "level pack". There is also a Bonus Level Pack that won't unlock until all 12 "level packs" are passed.
I had a difficult time because I LOVED the background and scenery and little fishies and starfish and so on and was easily distracted - lol. However, as beautiful as the jellyfish are - they are hateful. Bad, bad jellyfish - lol.
I thoroughly love this game and am putting it on my list of games to get on the next bonus punch Monday. The scenery alone has me hooked. I encourage everyone to try this game. I am sure you will enjoy it at least a little. It's free and only an hour of your time.
Happy Gaming to All!

Easy, relaxing, fun.
I have a number of HO and adventure games, but sometimes I don't want to think, I just want to relax. This Pong style game has nice graphics and enough twists to the different scenes to keep you interested, even if you play it a lot. The music is gentle and the voice comments are even nice.
This game and Bubble Town are my two "go to" games to just zone out and unwind. If this is a style of game that you like, this game has a lot to offer!

Bricks of Atlantis
This is the first brick busting game that I am reviewing and the last one because these games are too fast for me to play so I stay away from them
