the man is always smiling
Even the dog smiles in this pleasant game. Find hidden objects as well as coins to buy upgrades for your garden.

The garden design is what makes this rock
The mansion is having a "jumble" sale in 15 different rooms/areas, and you are looking for objects requested by customers. The graphics are good, but still you'll probably need to use hints to find some objects. I had fun using two novel tools -- hidden cameras and thermometers --, and in most scenes, they are really hidden. If you can find either, the camera flash provides a very quick glance at where some of the hidden objects are located. The thermometer clue will heat up by various degrees as you approach a HO. But you've got to be quick because both tools only last seconds.
The real standout of this game is the part where you design a fabulous garden from one in shambles, encouraged by a helpful butler. You get to play with designing an animated fountain, pond, bridge, putting green, flower beds, shrubs, fruit trees, gazebo, walkway pavers, fencing, porch upgrades, and more. There's so much to do...and not one weed to pull.

Pure fun
This game is pure cute, whimsical fun. I enjoyed the little characters (especially the dog) and I loved the relaxing garden. The butler is funny and endearing as he fusses about the garden. Your character is cleaning out an inherited house to sell the objects to finance restoring the garden. My only complaint about the game at all is how often the hidden object scenes are repeated, but that is the nature of them all being within the same house. You have the option of playing untimed, but you make more money if you play the timed version. I am playing this game for the second time and enjoying it just as much as the first time. I like Gardenscapes much better than Farmscapes, although that one is fun, too.

Gardenscapes!!!
Gardenscapes is a game where you have lots of jumble sales in many different rooms in the house that you care for. Many customers request different things and sometimes you even get letters from some were you have to collect a certain number of certain things. With the money you make from the items you sell you can buy new things to make your garden look amazing, even buy a pet dog and call it what you want, also newspapers will show best garden competitons that you will enter and hopefully win! You can change your garden items if your style of furniture changes and as you grow your garden will to. One sentence to sum up this game is: "AMAZING!".

I love this kind of game. It has the added bonus of designing a Beautiful garden along with the hidden object fun. Please make more games like these!

Nice Change of Pace
I absolutely love this game. The sound effects are excellent down to the cat's meow and the dog's bark. Sounds just like my cat. A lot of interesting things happen in this game. It's relaxing and a nice change of pace from the scary hidden object games. Watching your garden progress is really fun. Try it you'll like it.

fun object finding garden creating game
I love this game in this game you find hidden objects that people would like to buy and if you cant find an object you can sometimes find cameras that show you where they are or sometimes you find a thermometer that plays ou hot and cold you earn money when you sell items. the more you sell the more beutiful your garden will look...

A delight!
I'm a real fan of HOG's. Been so since I tried MCF's Dire Grove a few years back. But, ya know, sometimes I get real bored or just plain depressed hunting around piles of refuse in search of some little thing in a dark dreary background. I mean "Escape from Ravenhurst" was just over the top with dark and gross. If you ever feel the same way, Gardenscapes is the antidote. No rotting bodies, no ghostly creatures, no dark and dreary moods or music, just a butler, the dog and you rebuilding a classy garden. AND you can play for a few minutes when you have a break or sit for hours poking around rooms for stuff to sell and support the work on the garden. The music is fun and at times soothing. This the "Farmscapes" are two games I'll keep on the computer for while and revisit often whenever my nerves are shot and need to relax.

sweet little game
I got this game a couple of years back. I had fun rebuilding gardens, house, and playing with the dog. Also you get requests from people . If you are looking for a fun game to play try this one .
