Fun outdoors
Very good game. I had fun making my own garden look like I wanted it to. Very challenging.

Just Plain Fun
I really like this game because it is just plain fun. I like the characters and the object of the game as a whole. I'm a newer HOG player and I enjoyed the fact the frustration level of where to go next wasn't there and I appreciated that.

Not all that bad
this game is not too bad it is very easy and relaxing. you pretty much search for objects to earn cash to buy items for your garden you get 3 choices of each decorative items to choose from to go into your garden and if you find later in the game that a certain item doesn't quite go well with other items you can change it with 1 of the other 2 choices and of cause austin the butler will give you his opinions if he thinks something should be changed but you don't need to pay attention to him if you don't want (like me) the downside of this game is that it's too short and sometimes boring although it has beautiful scenery i personally think it's not worth the money but still will recommend this game

Was bored after 2 weeks
There should be levels or scenes that change over a certain amount of time, but it just seems to go round and round, and you never completely clean a room. You just go back again and again, and pretty much do what you did before. There's really no challenge. Good for children, but not adults. :(

Definitely worth the money!!!
I was pleasantly surprised at the length of this game. The only criticism -- there were not enough rooms. You keep going back to the same rooms. But that is a minor drawback and don't let it stop you from trying/buying this game.
It is very interactive. Click on the dog and watch him do tricks. Click on Austin and see what he has to say. And it is something different every time. Click on the swan and Austin will feed him. Click on a butterfly or bird and it flies away. Click on anything and see what happens. And when it rains, watch puddles form.
The point of this game is to design a garden. You earn money by having garage sales. When you earn enough money, you can buy an item. If you want to change an item you bought, you can.
Excellent graphics. Relaxing. Made me smile several times.

cute hidden object game
I loved the idea of the game, but i was so disappointed once the garden was completely madeover. It's like you just keep finding objects for nothing, since your used to purchaseing new items for your garden. I'm still working on it but nothing more has happened. I had alot of fun designing the garden and then being able to go back and change it if I wanted to. It was great for all that but now it's boring. Don't know if mansion makeonver will be the same way or not. Was a great game in the beginning.

Decent game
I was too bored to finish it, however it was decent. Maybe it is meant for children and not adult gamers.

It gets real old, real quick
I bought this game a while ago on the basis of the rave reviews. I frequently look at the 'top-rated' games section of the Big Fish website for ideas on what to buy next and can never understand why this game ranks so highly. The animation is basic and annoying, the challenges - well, there aren't any really and the format is repetitive.
