Interesting Take on History I really enjoy both Crystal Portal games, but #2 is better, I believe, than 1 and I long for number 3. At the end of Game 2, the authors dangled a carrot for game 3 and I've been waiting for quite a while for it to show up. Please say there will be a game 3! I love the fact that Nicole's father is drawn to look like Sean Connery's Indiana Jones character! October 3, 2014
Not exactly "brain-bending"! This game took a little while to work out what you were supposed to be doing - not because it was hard, but because there was no instructions. Then it was relatively easy to whiz through the rest of the game. I still don't know what the "Crystal Portal" was - won't bother playing again. February 28, 2012
Boring... This game is slow and boring... There are no specific HOS; the location contains the objects to find. The idea is good, but it's so slow. The cut-scenes are slow. Changing location is slow. The mini-games are very easy. I needed 1 1/2 hours to finish. I wonder how fast I could have finished if the game wasn't so slow... August 18, 2013
Not crazy about this game This game was nowhere near as good as the sequel, which I enjoyed and would recommend. It is basically a HOG with a few small puzzles added. Not interactive. It was repetitive and boring and illogical and you could never figure out what you were supposed to be doing. I just sat there and waited for the hint button to fill so I could just get it over with. Normally I would say it was too short but in this case I was glad when it was over. The concept wasn't bad, just the execution. They got it right in the sequel, so just start with the second one and don't bother with this one. January 25, 2012
