One of my favourites
this game was the first "Chronicles of Mystery" I bought. It kept me so fascinated and so obsessed, that I had to play for hours and hours to finally solve the plot. Its perfect for players who love historic-fantasy-themes. You are in the middle of solving a old riddle and finding ancient rituals. It reminded me of a story in the footsteps of the book "Illuminati".
Definitely my favorite game. And the successor "Chronicles of Mystery: Tree Of Life" is even better !

A DIY Game, and very entertaining.
Pure adventure. No HOS, no map, no hints just you! There is considerable text with voice overs, voice acting is well done. There is a sequel; Mystery Chronicles: Tree of Life which is quite good. They are not dependent upon playing in order, both stand on their own.
Length of Play, maybe 8 hours, give or take. There is a strategy guide provided by BFG (go to Blog, walkthroughs..or the forum may have a link). Graphics for background is very realistic, characters are stiff and not the best, they could have been better.
While it is a game that does not hold your hand and makes you think, it is also very intuitive and flows well. I only had to use the walkthrough once; in the beginning (while I knew what I had to do it just would not work. Found out I was just not putting the key in the exact place). It would be a good entry level game into this genre if you?ve never played this type of game before. Just released on BFG yesterday was Dark Alleys: Penumbra Motel CE., which play wise, is very similar, but more modern with live actors.
Entertaining and with historical information, it gets the brain cells working. You will get a feeling of accomplishment by achieving all your tasks by yourself without any sparkles!

Pretty good adventure game
The game was good for an adventure type game, but it was a little short. Most of the puzzle/item combinations were intuitive, which was a joy after some games of this type I've played. The story was very unique and I enjoyed the fact that it was even plausible, unlike some. If you've got an extra game credit lying around and like this type of game, I'd say go for it.

Another City Interactive Goodie
We have a search for dear old uncle which takes us around the globe. A very good story line with lots of things to do and a healthy supply of characters to overcome..
Kept my interest all the way. If you have played the "Art of Murder" series you will fine this to you liking. The game is a bit short but this is probably good since it keeps the game moving.
On the negative side, this, like so many of these games, has some very dark scenes. This really stands out in the fireplace scene which was not difficult...I just couldn't see it..
Also the ending I thought a little brutal. But in total, a very good game.
Play this game, you will enjoy it.

A Marvelous Game With A Plausible And Suspenseful Plot!
This awesome game is a Polish endeavor, and it was done beautifully. My hat is off to City Interactive and to the CEO, Marek Tyminski, for bringing us a game that is so well knit and spellbinding!
The graphics are gorgeous, as is the heroine of the story, Sylvie Leroux, whose uncle has gone missing after he delved into some antiquities he should have kept his nose out of.
Sylvie searches for him on Malta, in Gozo, in Istanbul, Turkey, at the Vatican in Rome, and in a lost temple in Gozo.
The cutscenes are among the very best I have ever seen, and the plot is extremely well developed. The puzzles are few, but tricky, as Sylvie follows her nose, which leads her to an earth-shattereing discovery!
If you like antiquities, archaeology, and mysteries, you're going to love this game!
Also, check out the other great game featuring Sylvie Leroux:
"Chronicles of Mystery: The Tree of Life." It's even more exciting!
Thanks, BIG FISH!

Good Old Fashion Point and Click
I enjoyed this game as it was very similar to the old Gabriel Knight games. Dialogue, inventory based puzzles. The graphics were very good.
My only downsides: 1) I like a mix of puzzle and inventory-based solutions and this was mostly the latter. 2) Some of the solutions were a bit bizzare. I have issues with some actions that make you do things with certain inventory items when there is a more logical solution.
All in all, it was a good game tho and would recommend.

Entertaining
I'm not sure whether I like it very much or?? Briliant storline, grafic, I like the idea of the game, but somehow it also was a bit bored.

Another winner.
Loved this. The people are realistic, the scenery is amazing and there is an absorbing level of difficulty - had to resort to a walkthrough a couple of times but that kept up the challenge. Sorry when it was all over.

Boring
Storyline is a bore, and there's nothing to do. Mostly dialogue.
